Did you decide you want to paint it? or maybe you are talking about painting the engine bay.

AKS92GS - Well I’m thinking engine bay and interior are going to be painted Root Beer Metallic. It will have CF hood, hatch, fenders, cf wrapped 1/4 panels and doors… and then the rest of exterior parts will be painted gloss black to sort of flow with the CF. Thanks for pointing that out, forgot to edit it in the build list.

Well, we got a lot of work done. I have been out for like 3 weeks with a lung infection, but I am back now!
Here are some pictures of the gutting.
Almost all the sound deadening material is gone, all the wiring harnesses are out. Just need to pull the brake lines and gas tank, then its off to get sandblasted. Hopefully tomorrow we get all that out, and then Monday its in the shop.
I was super surprised… NO RUST UNDER THE SOUND DEADENING MATERIAL!

I thought i saw somewhere a few years ago a company made carbon fiber doors for our 2 doors. You should look into that. Would really fit your theme nicely!
P.s. Can i get a hookup on parts pricing??? lol 
IIRC the CF doors were a whopping 1300 or something ridiculous like that…

Well… shes gone… and I will let you guys know about my experience with Ultimate. Didn’t get a chance to meet Sid, but the other guys there seemed pretty cool.

My first DA use to look like that before I got it hauled off to the yard… I’m sure you’ll do a way better job than I did.
