Nawaaz's Build Thread

Thanks Gil… You will have to take a flight out some time

lol… everyones opinion is worth something :P.

Im going for something unique and out there… maybe once its all done you will change your mind

Thanks man! Took me a while to find most parts, and some I just happened to stumble upon without even looking, lol. I see you are from Ontario… maybe we will meet up at some meets this summer.

Thanks

I really like the colour combo also.

i will only if you lie to me and tell my mine is pretty once its done too.

DEAL! As long as we both THINK our rides are dope then our rides WILL be dope, lol.

Are you going to do the rear quarters carbon as well?

I would look for skirts in carbon too … looks kinda goofy with the whole car carbon and then a little stip of blue at the bottom.

(not knockin it, just throwing out some pointers)

Is going to go on a rotisserie? I’ll be building one up for mine to make the blasting and undercoating easier. I like how far you’re going with it though! Looking forward to the outcome

I appreciate the CC actually man. I have another idea in mind… which I am getting photoshopped right now, and I will post up… you guys might like this one a lot more

I think the shop is putting it on their rotisserie so that they can do the bottom end and that… the whole thing is getting blasted, I will probably have some pictures tmrw or tuesday

Thanks man! Im looking forward to the outcome also… do you have a build thread for your K-DA?

wheres the pics man?

Here’s a little teaser… just got her back from sandblasting… will have more pictures tonight

Here are the pictures

Brother forgot the welder in Toronto… so patching starts on Monday

that is a mountain of work. wow!

Is that a good mountain… or bad mountain? lol

Thanks Gil!

I found some more pictures the DA (on an old harddrive) of when we first got it… I will upload them a bit later.

We just have a few patches to make… and then she gets painted interior and engine bay in Dyno Blue (Honda colour). I don’t want to paint the exterior yet so nothing gets damaged, so interior and engine bay… then once everything is in and she is running… paint and cf wrap

I bet thats gonna be fun to rebuild. Seriously, that wasnt sarcastic. I would love to do entire rebuild.

Awesome! You can’t get much more of a blank slate to start with than that. Props for doing the work the right way.

LOL… thanks man! So far it has been nothing but fun. Myself and my brothers working on it… good times… building Rayzor Image’s first time attack car

Thanks! Do it once, Do it right
I hope to never have to see rust again on this thing in my life!

i vote you install only the essentials to get it driving first and take it for a spin around the block in super weight reduction mode, its so much fun.

Here are some picture I found of when we first got the car.

Did that when we stripped it… sooo awesome! Should do that when we are throwing it back together also

WELL!!! Started the patch work today… here is a little sneak peek… and now I am heading back to my dads place to work on the car

Picture 1)
Front Passenger Floor done mostly (just needs to be grinded a bit and then seam sealed)

Picture 2)
Pillar patch that needs to be done (Might be a little tricky, but nothing we can’t handle :D)

Picture 3)
Rear passenger floor, needs to be patched, already cut out for a patch

Picture 4)
Passenger side rear inner wheel well patch needs to be done

Picture 5)
Passenger side rear outer wheel well needs to be done… time to oil spray on the inside there

That is all surface rust you see there, just has to be wire wheeled, and then welding in patches
