questions:
-what kind water lines should i get and where should i connect them to?
-where do u connect ur oil line and oil line out to on ur car(not to turbo)?
-how did u guys tap ur oil pan and what parts did u use to make sure it didnt leak?
-would i need to take out my a/c with the setup i have now?
-would i need to take out my p/s with the setup i have now?
-would i need to get a smaller radiator with this setup?
-would i need to get a slim fan with this setup?
-would i need an safc or can i do without it for now?

these are my main questions so clear answer would be much appreciated. also if u guys need more pictures or clarifications then i will get back to u asap. sorry for the long read but id like to get all this out of the way so the installation would be as smooth as possible. thanks for u help  .

-what kind water lines should i get and where should i connect them to?
Leave out the water cooled aprt and just run oil cooled.

-where do u connect ur oil line and oil line out to on ur car(not to turbo)?
Get a T or soemthnig and take it from where the stock oil pressure sensor is on the back of the block by the oil filter. Oil return goes into oil pan if that’s what you’re asking?

-how did u guys tap ur oil pan and what parts did u use to make sure it didnt leak?
For me. I had a flange I got so I drilled 3 holes the main hole for oil. and the two extar holes for the botls to mount it. I made a gasket with permetex stuff and it doesn’t leak at all.

-would i need to take out my a/c with the setup i have now?
It depends on how your turbo sits on the manifold. the downpipe might hit the A/C… hard to say.

-would i need to take out my p/s with the setup i have now?
Shouldn’t, depending how you run charge pipes

-would i need to get a smaller radiator with this setup?
No

-would i need to get a slim fan with this setup?
Also depends ohw the turbo sits. if anything you can trim teh shroud a bit. just not too much

-would i need an safc or can i do without it for now?
you alreayd have the FMU so you don’t need it. i’d get an inlnie pump tho. if you get a chance. ditch teh FMU and buy a AFC and larger injectors and fuel pump.

thanks for the detailed reply. anybody else have any more tips?

-what kind water lines should i get and where should i connect them to?
I believe my friend tee’d the water feed from his head and water return from his TB. Water cooling reduces the amount of time you have to let your turbo cool down. Many manufactures did this because they knew that most owners wouldnt let their car cool down. Its a good idea.

-where do u connect ur oil line and oil line out to on ur car(not to turbo)?
Get a golden eagle sandwich adapter that way you can use the extra port for an oil pressure or temp gauge and you can run the oil feed off there as well.

-how did u guys tap ur oil pan and what parts did u use to make sure it didnt leak?
What i would do is take it to a machine shop and have them weld a swivel 45 degree fitting on there like this

-would i need to take out my a/c with the setup i have now?
No you can keep your ac

-would i need to take out my p/s with the setup i have now?
You can keep your p/s too

-would i need to get a smaller radiator with this setup?
You can keep you stock one but i would really recommend getting a fluidyne. Full-race is selling half size radiators for 280, also that would help run cut down ic piping.

-would i need to get a slim fan with this setup?
If you get a halfsize slim fan help free up some space in the engine bay…

-would i need an safc or can i do without it for now?
I would say your best bet is getting a hondata… but you would need more fuel, maybe a walbro 255hp and 310s. More fuel is better than less… lean is really bad but as long as you tune it, it should be fine…

i have some new questions:

-how the hell do u use the dipstick with the drag manifold? theres no way of getting it through the middle hole and the bolt cant even fit in there anyway.

-also what method did u guys use to drill a 2.5-3.0 inch hole on the sidewall for the IC piping?

like go throught he sdiewall into where the windshield washer fluid reservoir will be? be warned., it’s two layers thick and quite thick in total lol. use a Plasma cutter… hehe. or a super strong drill and one of those big cuttesr to cut holes

as fas as the water line, If you have the option of connecting them, Do it!, it’s good for your turbo, it’s cost $5 more and takes 10 minutes to do it.

you can tap the line behind/under your TB ond the other one right on the Head itself, behind/beside the upper radiator hose.

as far as the whole for IC pipes:

you can go to Lowe’s and get a 3" drill bit, it’s a circulas thing 3" radius and it has a drill bit right in the middle, it costs about $17.

where do you get one of these cause i woould rather do this than get another tee for the sensor.

i tried using a hole saw to drill a hole but the metal is really thick and its eating up the teeth on the saw.

also idk how to get the dipstick in. the drag manifold is completely blocking it.

ok i finally was able to drill the holes in the side for the ic piping.

the dipstick im still stuck on. anyone?

anybody?

ill take pics if needed.

Bend the pipe the dip stick goes into. Don’t break it…

any other way?

im using the drag mani., i just pushed it in and it seem ok,and it just starts to breakin when you take it in and out, yeah! but theres not much room because of the stupid deltagate and the so little crack. but it works for me, when i check my oil, i just carefully take it off.

or you can order one of those Lokar flexiable dipsticks, which i should invest in also(summit might have).

LBRda-t: or anybody

hey, i was reading that link for the oil return line, it says nomore bleeding if you use there’s. Since im not using there’s, how would i go about in bleeding the oil system fo rthe turbo. Could this be the cause of my "not getting the corrected psi rating(geting 2 instead of 4), already tried using a boost controller, but just stayed at the 2psi.

For the watercooled part if you aren’t running A/C or Heat you can use the in/out from the heatercore. Thats what i did when i did mine at least now if the car would just start.

I need a/c or i will roast

does anyone have detailed pictures of a turboed teg with a/c

dipstick

all u need to do to make the dipstick fit correctly is take a dremel tool and grind away a small amount of the manifold to make the hole large enough for the dipstick to fit. I did this over 2 years ago, no probs so far and the dipstick fits like it should, dont bend anything on the motor…

As For The Oil Lines I Dont Know If You Have The Time But I Ordered A Steel Braided Oil Line Kit For A T3/t4 Turbo And It Comes With Everything You Need To Tap Off The Oil Pressure Switch And Return Line To Oil Pan

Tap the coolant lines in between the IM and the FITV.

So it’ll go IM -> Turbo in -> Turbo out -> FITV

Take pics of your dipstick clearence. There shouldn’t be any problems.
