need input on making a decision..

Iive had a change of plans… and now shopping for a new urbo… my choice was te/t4e turbonetics 50 trim maybe .63 ar… i was speaking to someone that is making me consider a precsion sc-6031e supposed to be the new version of the sc-32 but jusst ball bearing… i dunno too much about thst turbo but i do know precision is supposed to have bad asss turbo’s… but is it really worh it for the $350 more that it cost over the turbonetics… my HP goals are 350+ maybe 410… can you guys that know a little more about precision elaborate on that turbo if you can… i tried to search on google but not too much info on it avail yet… thank you… by the way my set up is wiseco pistons ,eagle rods, blockguard… so my bottom isn’t stock.

bump any1 no one has any commment on precision???

from what I understand, a precision turbo is an upgraded garrett, i think thats even the way its listed on their site, you get what you pay for, using that precision turbos are usually exspensive, they are of good quality and I have never heard anyone complain about them, I will be using an sc50, its sitting in my living room right now waiting for me to put it in

I would personally go with the ordinary Turbonetics T3/T4 stage III wiht the 57 trim wheel. Turbonetics has a 1 yr warrantee against anything. Plus its alot easier in the long run to upgrade.

thanks i will be keeping my turbonectics… i dont fell like spending 300 more to get the precision… i dont think its worth it… because even though my motor is built my goal is 325-390 whp… and the turbonetics can get me there… thanks on the input…

good luck

What motor is this? That plays a big role.

The Precision turbos (in most cases) are Garrett turbos with ported compressor housings which offer a lot more flow capability and increased efficiency.

You’ll see boost sooner, it’ll hold on and stay efficient longer…and be a much better turbo than that Turbonetics for sure…

built but not sleeved LS… wiseco 9:1, and eagle rods…

A 50 trim is a good match efficiency-wise for an LS motor…

I would keep the one you have. I also wouldn’t go any higher the about 400ish hp with those eagle rods.
