Need opinions on build

since the t3 flanged manifolds are easier to get and your power goals are low go with a cast blox manifold and get a adapter from http://www.bmcrace.com/t314b.html or Wyntonm http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/14B-16G-Turbo-Manifold-Mild-Steel-Adapter-To-T3-T3-T4_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a1417Q7c39Q3a1Q7c66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c240Q3a1318QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem380072643971QQitemZ380072643971

bump… for a new idea

How about a T3 you can get one from a tbird 5speed the auto one is smaller. I just finished one over the weekend on a B20 it made a 250whp and had torque from about 2500 its a nice street car.
For his whole setup I think he paid 1500 including tuning.

A kit like this. What are the goods and the bads??

http://cgi.ebay.ca/Civic-Integra-90-01-DA-DC2-B16-B18-Turbo-Kit-94-95-96_W0QQitemZ200264825229QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item200264825229&_trkparms=72%3A792|39%3A1|66%3A2|65%3A12|240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14#ebayphotohosting

the only problem with these supposed kits is that 90-93 piping is not going to be the same as 94+ but that’s why it tells you “mild modifications may need to be made”. It’s kind of a gamble with Ebay kits. your turbo can last or it can blow the seals within a month. you never know. the blow off valve is a HKS remake. never heard bad things about it, but the wastegate is something I don’t know much about. I had a stone mountain racing(ssautochrome) one back in the day and the valve would stick open all the time. I ended up buying a Tial. so it’s really up to you weather you want quality parts or if you just want to keep buying the same stuff over and over. the manifold isn’t that bad but wategate placement is important and that one looks to be on runners 1-2. it should be in the middle. it will all work fine but how long??? nobody knows.

Yea the manifold isn’t the best one to use. with the waste gates you have to take them apart and clean the funk out of them to keep them from getting stuck. The down pipe isn’t going to fit it’s going to have to get welding again

so hows the progress?
