Sup guys/gals new here on g2ic. Names Derek and from RI. Quick history on me graduated high school got a job at a ford dealer that about a year went out of business got a temp position at circuit city before they went under and now at another ford dealer for the last 4 years as a tech. Have had several cars in the past many hondas. 240sx, 2 dsm’s, 3 civics, 1 explorer, 2 fox body stangs, miata, 1 dc integra which was my pride and joy til bills got the best of me and now my 92 GS-R. Bought bone stock from original owners son who was in his 40s with 89k original miles. Faded paint light surface rust but solid platform. Me and my dad made a project of it and tackled the body work ourselves and he paid for a cheapy maaco job for my graduation from college. Sorry for the long post but figured I’d give a proper intro and a pic of the teg after paint. Also painted the wheels metallic gunmetal pics coming soon

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. At the moment my plans are to finish fixing it and get an inspection sticker. Needs a master cylander which i have just need to put in, pesky abs light not done diaging yet, oil change, pcv valve, tbelt, waterpump… blah blah boring maintainence. First mods are gonna be a better alarm than the one installed in 92 along with the hack wiring. also looking at the coilovers on the bisimoto website.
welfare: yes we service diesels at my place. I don’t do alot of diag on them myself at the moment but i do maintainence and regular repairs on them.

ye we work on deisel at our shop. predominantly ford.

not really any 6.7’s yet though
What you don’t love the 6.0 international? Lol especially 03s right along with bad ficms everywhere you look or the stupid plugs in high press oil manifolds that leak. We’ve had a couple 6.7’s come through for maintainence hugely fun to drive. So as an update did the timing belt, tensioner, and water pump all from gates racing. Wanted to do the master but realized I received the wrong one. Can’t return it either so selling locally and ordered an oem straight from Acura along with a shark 2 antenna sick of my motor eating up plastic antenna cables. Pics tomorrow of painted wheels. Look 100 times better than corroded alloys

does it have the original alarm from 1992 or just some aftermarket installed by the previous owners? im looking to buy the old factory ‘alarm’ lol
