nitrous bottle wont open

tryin to open up the valve and it aint moving is thier sumthin im missin?? i just picked up the kit today

bottle fed

righty tighty, lefty loosey. What brand nitrous kit do you have. The valve might have been tightened to much. Best way to loosen it, if there has never been nitrous in the bottle i suggest heating the neck, then try to turn the valve with pliers.

are u crazy??? heating up the bottle will make it a freakin bomb…lololol

put the full bottle in the oven, and then use a welder to get the cap off…
worked for me

like I said before, if there has never been any nitrous in the bottle

lol… wow… ok… put the bottle in the brackets then sit on it, then sit on it lik it is laying on the brackets… wrap a towel (hand towel) around the knob and grab ahol of it with a monkey wrench… that shouild do it…

are you sure the bottle isnt already open? sorry have to ask, because one of my friends was having a bbq and we were telling him to open the propane tank so we can start cooking. well he was having a hard time trying to open it. the guys did everything to it. later after we were ready to just throw it away we found out it was empty the whole time and was already open.
like you said there is no nox in it so… just a suggestion.

we all had a good laugh after too…

are u crazy??? heating up the bottle will make it a freakin bomb…lololol

wrong, Zex and NOS have a nitrous bottle warmer, and n2o is not expolsive out of the bottle, it is when mixed with feul, if it was then it would be illegal to ship and pretty much drive anywhere

dont base anything off fast and the furious

I dont know the exact chemistry behind it, but when nitrous is heated in the engine it splits NO2 into nitrogen and oxygen its become flamable then. Its something along the lines of that but more complicated. Then it would become flamable if it was heated. Unlike in Fast and the Furious.

bottle warmers shut off at certain psi …if it goes to high ull the valve on the side will blow out…

N20 is unreactive at room temp…but heatin up a bottle wit a torch will it pressurize is just plain stupidy…bottle warmers cut off at certain temps or bottle pressure…if u look at the sideof the bottle or any type of c02 tank it have a blow out valve…did that plenty of time when i use to fill my c02 tanks when i played paintball

Nitrous isnt a fuel, nor is it combustable…
molecules splits @ 567 degrees F and this acting much like a turbo pack a buncha air into the combustion chamber (nitrogen and oxygen). In turn upin the HP and mostly torque.
But yea heating up the bottle with anything but a blanket is just retarted the reason being that the heat on that one area causes a weak spot and the bottle being under such immense pressure is bound to launch a few pieces of the bottle into u…

thank u…i asked my girly and shes a chem major she told me the same thing its not flamable at room temp but to heat it up in teh bottle will cause pressure

Thats what I was trying to get at, but didnt know the exact number behind the molecules spliting.
