Official Wheel/Tire Thread

How about an official wheels/tires size thread. Post up your tires and wheel combination. Wanna know what you guys are running and if it’s good for the DA.

-I have Volk GRNs 15X7 +42 with 205-50-15 Nitto Neo Gens

I can slam it in the front without rubbing, but I have to leave a finger gap in the rear in order to invade the infamous rub. But I like the drop.

  • Volk GRNs. Got it from a trade. My first legit wheels :werd:
  • Nitto Neo Gens 205-50-15. I like how it looks and the design of the thread. Good price, and I was convinced from my friend to buy a set. It grips pretty good, and there’s not a lot of noise.

hmmm. No one? I think it might help other people who are looking into buying tires for their wheels.

i got ls meshes with 205-50-15 nitto neo gens on 2 and 215-50-15 bf goodrich’s on 2

post em, i kinda want to know what 50 series looks like on mesh. i have 60 and there way to big, i dont know if i should go to 50 or 45.

Would be nice to have pic of the wheel on the Da/Db for reference.

I’ll add pic around march cause the car is not finised.

Yellow Advan TC First Gen in 15X6.5 (Don’t remember the offset)

195/50/15

What? You’re rubbing on 205/50/15 even with a +42 offset? At that offset and 50 series tires, don’t think you should be rubbing…

I believe I ran that setup before with a +40 offset and had no rubbing issues… weird.

215/40/16 toyo proxes t1-r no rubbing and i still can take it lower

— I hopped off the JDM bandwagon . Now I’m walking my own way —

Enkei racing S 15x6,
front two are 195/50/15 mastercraft(daily tires)
rear two 195/55/15 Bridgestone Potenza RE01 R
old pic.

my car right now, has 17mm spacers in the front and 5mm spacers in the rear.
Looks more aggressive, but no pix of it atm.

what shocks are you running and are those photoshopped? I’m running sportlines and koni yellows and i don’t think the gap between wheel and fender is that close on mine.

Yes, my thread came alive. lol. I need to figure out why my rear are rubbing.
