OH: 92 AGP Gs-r

I’m looking to move my stash of Integras. I just don’t drive it enough and I’m tired of looking in the driveway and seeing it deteriorate. Its not a show car, but is running and driving, mostly original and low rust. I am located on the north side of Columbus, Ohio.

PICS ARE LOCATED BELOW

The chassis is originally from the St Louis area and has been in Columbus, Ohio for the past seven years. I assume it has seen salt sometime, but not since it has been in Ohio. As a result there is minimal rust beginning to form on the lower front of the passenger quarter. The clear coat is peeling on the roof and hood. The bumpers are straight but do have scuffs and bolt holes from the age/mileage/Walmart exposure.

Mechanically everything on the car is functional except the a/c, which worked on the original r12 coolant summer of 2013. Currently the blower motor is non functional, I have a spare and a resistor box for it. The chassis has 243K, the engine was rebuilt at 236K, the clutch was replaced then. The block was honed, head milled and crank turned. The correct Honda bearings were used, NAPA rings/gaskets/belts/wp. The trans shifts well, no grinds or pop-outs. The engine runs well and pulls hard however I do find it about a quart of oil short each year (1500ish vtec laden miles). The cars primary mileage has been autox events over the past few years though.

The interior is in decent shape, there are no rips or holes. The color is a bit faded and the foam in the drivers seat isn't as firm as it once was.

The suspension is likely original and is done. It's not blown or unsafe, its just squishy and wallowy. Like my brothers DC Gs-r. Be prepared to replace all wear items, springs, shocks and all bushings. I have replaced the rear trailing arm bushings with new stock pieces though.

For the most part the car is stock, with the exception of wiring for an amp/subs, fog lights that I haven't figured out, Hawk front pads which are apparently the rotor eater model (they do grab well though) and urethane motor mount inserts that I don't like. Previous owner also put clear corner lights on it. It is a running, driving, low rust and mostly stock car which has some nickel and dime issues (see: common DA issues), most of which I have parts for. Come check it out and drive it home.

I’m looking for $2400 and have a good amount of of parts that could be negotiated for an additional amount. Email is key: Bobatohiou@hotmail.com

Apparently my phone camera lens had baby slobber all over it (phones are delicious) when I took these pics. If anyone wants to see anything specific, I’d be happy to get additional specific pics.

Also, anyone not looking forward to driving it home long distance, I just used a shipping service Uship.com. Carriers bid for your shipment. Moved a 600lb piece of machinery from NC to OH dirt cheap…

Thanks for looking,
Bob

I’m interested. PM me your phone number.

Remembered some more info: Car has a USDM 1997 ITR exhaust mani. Not the header, iron mani. I’ve seen these make more power than a DC sports. I think thats moreof a testament to the DC though. Has larger 15.9mm stock DA rear sway bar. Maybe from 90-91 auto sedans?

Negotiable parts include:

Thermal cat-back. I don’t think they are very loud. Unless you do vtec pulls under overpasses. I’m pretty grochy about that stuff too.

Injen CAI.
Arospeed 450/350 springs
Skunk2 shocks w/ebay coils.
UGLY but very functional DC Koni yellows.
B17 cams and gears

I hope to find some more.

Mr. Bob! Trying to talk myself out of coming to see you in a few weeks. Nice DB

Come on over, we might be able to work something out!

Emailed you

Anyone in at $2900?

very beautiful and you are so close to me… tempting sir very tempting haha. I’m in the market for a stock or mostly stock work commuter.

Well, I can’t PM you, but feel free to email me at bobatohiou@hotmail.com.

Weather is nice. Great time to look at/work on cars… Tire kickers anywhere?

Sweet / rare GS-R. Been looking around for one of these. I have Carfax access at the moment and I noticed this failed emissions twice in 2006. There aren’t any emissions tests recorded since. I know the engine rebuild took place after the fact, just curious if it would pass if I brought that car here to AZ. They’re pretty strict.

I don’t recall sending anyone a vin… Also, car has never lived anywhere emission testing is done… Maybe you have me confused with someone else?

EDIT: The car would have failed under the previous emission program. My mistake. Current program started 10/07. I assumed there wasn’t anything prior to that.

Carfax lets you run reports by license plate & state now. Your car failed emissions in Missouri in both July & August 2006. If you want to PM me your email address I’ll be glad to send you the report. If your VIN ends in #337 then I’m pretty sure it’s the right car. Report looks great otherwise, btw.

Right, I forgot you can check cars via plate # on Carfax. I’d love to see the report, if it was close to passing or way off… Bobatohiou@hotmail.com. Thanks!

Anyone else have any experience with passing emissions with vtec like oil consumption?

Driveway space is getting more valuable. $2600… Complete running and driving Gs-r, not beat or rusted out…

I’m interested in this, would you drive this across the country? I’ve been looking for a db1 teg but wouldn’t mind owning a db2. Do you have any more interior pics of the hatch area and the spot where the rust is starting?

How old are these pics?

Pics were taken at time of posting. I see I don’t have a clear pic of the roof, the clearcoat is in similar condition as the hood, peeling in the sides.

I sent a email, not sure if you saw it

I left a voice mail, not sure if you heard it yet. Hopefully it was the correct number
