Oil in intake charge pipes

I have some oil in my intake charge pipe…the one right before the ic…but it doesnt seem to be coming past the ic…nor getting into the upper intake pipe.
Are my seals in my turbo going or is my car just running reaaaaly rich…i have an uberdata basemap. Also its not like pure oil…just moist soot.

Thanks,Skyler

sounds like way too much fuel.

sounds like way too much fuel.

that would have nothing to do with soot in the intake pipe.
check in ur turbo, i have the same problem

do u have a filter or a screen

my idea is that it is a mixture of oil, exhuast or dirt, but i would like to know why it does that since i am tuned

fuel… yea do what he said o and if ur wastegate happens to be pointing at ur airfilter w/o a dump it could be burning ur airfilter, been there done that

I have some oil in my intake charge pipe…

Its your seals. You will need to get that turbo rebuilt at some point. It could last for months the way it is though, it just depends.

:bye:

id say rebuild it asap, that oil soot is gonna coat the inside of your intercooler and reduce its efficiency ALOT. and yeah, its definitely the turbo seals, and the reason the soot is only on one side of the piping is cause it hasnt made its way through the intercooler yet. get some cleaner and rinse out your intercooler as well.
