i had turbo for about a week and i started to notice that i have oil drips coming out from inside the piping. like it sucking oil somewhere and i don’t know where it’s sucking the oil from. I tightened the oil line from the manifold or w/es it is and still dripping. I thinking the seal in the turbo but i need some input in this guys…
ig they is blow by in your intake and intercooler piping you need to rebuild the turbo… your seals are bad…
oh great…turbo rebuild…is it like a shop or do i have to send to the manufacture?
is there any other reason why i have oil in my piping?
sounds more like blowby but i need more info.
whats your PVC set up?
Pics?
whats your oil feed line size?
i’ll try to get pics by the end of the day…
what do you mean blow and pvc?
[QUOTE=ShadowxXxDragon;1949979]i’ll try to get pics by the end of the day…

Blowby is when oil passes thru the rings due to excessive crankcase pressure.
SORRY pcv= positive crankcase ventilation setup
ahah i just did some research on it on the forum and i was like wtf?
pressure from what?
also when i rev it there’s like a light of bluish smoke coming out some where around the oil line…not a big smoke but seems like shooting smoke, i think its buring oil from there…
i’ll check about the size of the feedline because it’s at my friends house…
http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=1199935
that should help you wish I had a pic of my vented candy pink valve cover
for pcv…my friend did it…iono anything about hoses except there is one hose that isn’t connected…where the end of the throttle cable is…sorry, don’t know my parts…for the feedline (if your talking about the hose to the oil pan)…almost about half an inch maybe??
i also noticed that my waste gate is bolted only one and the other one isn’t. I looked inside and i can see holes where the bolt goes in. Gonna put everything back together and run it again and see what happens…
the oil line to the manifold wasn’t tight enough so I believe it was leaking from there and leaked down into the wastegate bolt where I haven’t bolted on yet…
ok…i tightened everything and i still oil coming out from inside my piping. I did some more research of preventing oil in my piping is…
-oil catch can and oil restrictor.
-Iono but I did some more research on pcv…in conclusion i came up with, blowby or some sort? pics would be great right now…
i say all this cuz that’s what i came up with before actually rebuilding my turbo…help would be great guys…
What type of turbo is it?
what size feed line?
greddy turbo t3/t4 and the feedline is 5/8…
Found the issue greddy never made a t3/t4 turbo in its history GREDDY only uses mitsu based turbos since its early days . Are you sure it’s 5/8= -10 feed going to the turbo and not coming out of it?
if so thats way to big U need to use a -3 line or a -4 with a rec in it. You really need to post a pic for anyone to help you out
here is my set-up
thats a 18g turbo not a T3/T4 It has a T25 flange.
u need to redo your PCV setup thats the issue u have and u also need to put a filter on that turbo and why dont u have a blow off valve? ur just going to kill the turbo on your motor.
stock injectors and a stock ecu its just a ticking time bomb but I hope that i helped you in some way
i do have a blow off valve…jsut hidden on the passanger side front bumper.
for the filter…i have no room…looks like i need a slim fan to put a intake or reolocate the battery…all i have for it is a metal grill…
as for the pcv…is the site on this post the one that will solve the pcv issue??
the oil in the piping is fixed. the only problem is oil burning…
Oil burning can be many things do a leakdown test.
check honda tech for PCV setups
where did u get that xs power intake manifold from
my friend gave it to me…not really sure where…
