I want to take off the oilpan but there is 2 screws under this plastic thats between the tranny and the oil pan. Do I have to drop the tranny in order to take down the oil pan or. Brake the Plastic thats between the two…
are you refering to the METAL cover that covers the rear of the flywheel? there are 2 12mm bolts, 2 10 mm bolts, 2 17mm bolts. i think thats right, it’s just from memory. remove those bolts, pull the cover down, remove the hidden oil pan bolts. done!
i’m guessing this is for a drain line install, if not this is in the wrong forum.
You’ll notice 2 L shaped brackets that tie the engine to the tranny. The bracket with 3 bolts just has to be cracked loose, but the bracket with 2 bolts needs to be removed. The metal plate should be accessible after that.
