I’m just curious as to what the approximate length most of your oil return lines are? I have a custom manifold, so I know it’s not going to be perfect. But I feel the 12" of steel braided included in the Vibrant kit I ordered wont do…
I don’t know anything about the kit you have, but remember that you want your oil drain to be as vertical as you can. Kinked line’s will make your turbo leak.
mines about 8"
edit: more around 6"
mine is about 4 inches.
Thank you. So this 12" line should more than likely suffice.
Awesome. Picture tells a lot more. It looks like I’m good to go with the return aspect of this.
redtegra,
What kind of fitting did you do for the oil pan? Welded bung or a threaded fitting of some sort?
I actually didnt use anything from the kit I bought except for the return flange. With my custom ramhorn my turbo sat so low that the AN fittings actually touched. I braised a brass 1/2" NPT to 5/8" barb to the pan. I will take pictures as soon as I can.

welded piece of pipe.
i have a barb on mine to but it leaks slowly
anyone else have any leaking issues?
I had planed on on welding on a AN fitting to my pan just to eliminate any chance
i have zero leakage. but a threaded fitting would be the best solution. anything welded is the way to go.
yeh mines a welded on barb. the welded part is no prob but the hose clamps on the barb is the problem ive upgraded recently to silicon and seems to seal alot better
