So you just don’t want to daily it then. An that ok mine is a daily an the people that know me know that but your price of 14,000 is way to much I THINK but that me I would sale mine for 10,000 completely redone but it to each there own not knocking you. But I think I would really think about bring it back tho
only the best

who are you tellin bro!!! i really dont want to give up this car and im really considering keeping it and paying out of pocked to bring it back but it really wouldnt have a place in america outside of hardparking. i also wouldnt be able to sell it if it came down to it. no one would pay for it. its gonna break my heart but im hoping the next owner takes care of it…
Dont do it man, im tellin you! How many times have you heard from family & friends bout that “one car” that got away? Mark my words, 4,5,6 yrs from now you will be hurtin for that car buddy! I wish i could go back & get my 77’ square body chevy back & my cb7 I had. As far as being a target? What ? Dont ever let fear of someone stealing it get in ur way…ever!!! Everytime you park pull that ecu hell its only 3 plugs or do whatever you gotta do to make sure its there when you get back. Besides at the price its set at you are goin to own it for a while anyways! Good luck either way you go:auto:

well… as much as i would love to keep it, its not really realistic. when i get back to america im going to have 2 cars and a third on the way. if i kept this then i would have 4 cars. not really interested in paying for that -_-

heres the full page magazine feature i got from the recent event i hosted. really happy about this happening. no words to describe the excitement…

So… in a world of uncertainty and crazy new things happening all the time, i have decided to add something to my car. That something is made by garrett and its purpose is to compress air.

More to come…

mmm choo choo noises.

When do you plan on moving back to america? This car is almost legal to be brought back to the states

im going back this year. the car is a nov91 and wont be able to come back until nov16. thats a long ways away

If money’s right this year I plan on sourcing one down and have it ship to America I know for sure the 90-89 models are legal but I’m not really sure how hard it would be to find one. Or the exact one I want. I think the RSI are rarer then the XSI.

good luck with that. the da doesnt come up for sale very often in japan. they are pretty rare cars here and when they do come up for sale, theyre pretty expensive. the da i was trying to get before this one got sold from under me and there was a 6 month gap until another came up for sale. you would probably have a better chance of getting one from canada. if you look on goo-net, you can get a pretty good idea of what they cost and how they will come. mine is currently for sale you know…

lol

so all the pieces are coming together for the turbo set up. i took the bumper off today to see how much space i have to work with along with routing options for the piping. i have to keep in mind that this car may or may not have to go through inspection again at some point so being able to put it all back to stock is something that needs to be… able.

pretty sure i have it all figured out but of course wont know until parts get put on the car. the install seems pretty straight forward the way im doing it. pretty excited to be doing this. nothing is going to happen until april time frame since a friend of mine is coming to visit and instead of paying for shipping for all the parts, hes just gonna bring them with him. saves me all the money plus he will be here to do stuff with me.

im going to do some things before he gets here like the battery relocation, oil pan, injectors, gauges and a few other things. im going to get the intercooler sent ahead of time since getting it fitted takes so much time with the trimming and cutting of this and that and whatever. im thinking about just driving around with the intercooler attached to nothing just because… =]

so some parts have arrived and there is PLENTY more on the way. the intercooler fitting will be worked on soon. still trying to figure out where i want to put the license plate. its going to need to be moved to make room for all the jdm air to cool my usdm parts.

 Turbo ftw! Looking forward to seeing your setup come together.

i got my gauges in (52mm water and oil temp, boost and oil pressure). now im only waiting on my AFR. i got an extra center console to experiment with so i am making a custom gauge pod that will fill the bottom part where that little cubby area goes. if i cant fit everything in that area then i will replace the entire center area with a cool set up that will also hold a radio. i should have a finished product by the end of the week.

got to wash the car last night and took some low quality gas station pictures

I have the same mushroom in my DA haha. Well it’s black and sun faded but close enough.

Man… Honda gets no love at all in Japan, over there it’s Nissan. YUCK!

so the gauge pod has been made. its still in the prototype stage and there is a little work left to make it what i want but this is basically it. the gauges arent fully seated in the holes so thats why they look a little off. i got the half size radiator and slim fan on the way so that will be the first steps in the turbo upgrade. i also ended up having to buy all new brakes since the last time i did anything with them was when i got the car. long story short, they died. more on that later…

i made the template and cut out of the piece you see and i had a friend of mine cut it up and make all the holes and everything.

pretty big update with pictures to come later…

 • gauge pod is done and just needs to be installed
 • i have everything now. only thing im missing is the manifold and turbo. both of which are just waiting to be shipped
 • my brakes exploded, so i got new brakes
 •

Still no pictures yet but some parts have been installed like the sandwich plate and oil feed adapter. This weekend the radiator should be going in along with a super custom ps cooler that im still unsure that I really need. All the wiring is ran for the gauges except the wideband which wont happen until I get a downpipe made. I bought another car so its taking up more time than I was hoping. Im learning how to tune so my free time has been spent driving around and messing with maps. I should have a bunch of pictures and stuff to update the thread with this weekend if everything goes as planned.
