well… through a great series of events, the DA will be mine again. arrangements are being made now for it to be shipped to me from the uk. it should be here by january. what a time to be alive

the ship date is nearing. getting all the paperwork and everything sorted out now. should everything go to plan, it will be on the boat on the 17th.

so the car is scheduled to be here sometime in march. i plan on retiring my current DA when it gets here. i would like to give it a break so i can tear it apart, fix EVERYTHING, then put it back together. it will be a full on restoration… an extreme restoration. so more updates as things happen. im super excited.

as am i… the eta is next week so hopefully things go smoothly. i was told by the importer thats its not uncommon for ships to be delayed around this time of year so, we’ll see how that goes. im ready ready ready

yes, it has arrived. not too much content to share since i havent done anything but get it home and wash it but theres much more to come soon. it was damaged a little bit in shipping but not that bad. im working the claim process now and we’ll see where that goes. right now i’m waiting on the customs paperwork to be mailed to me from the importer then i can drive it around more “legally” on the UK plates until i actually go to register it and get florida plates on it. im thinking about leaving the UK plate on the front honestly. i was going to get one of those super high quality replica jdm plates with my old number on it but the UK plate is actually pretty cool. the black DA in the picture is my somewhat original DA. ive had it since 2009. more to come on that one as well later…
