ONE-R's DA Shoot

1992 Integra Milano Red Gs-R by Michael Schoelen, on Flickr

A couple of days ago, Angell (ONE-R) came over to help me pull apart my DA. I gave his car a quick wipe down and a coat of wax, and we went off to do a small shoot of his car at the end of the day. Hope you guys like it.

magnificent

F*^! you Cali guys with your awesome shooting locations and clean (aka rust-free) cars… Gah!!!111

Clean car man. I really dislike red, its just not a color I dig… But that DA looks clean as can be. Nice car, nice shots… thumbs up

:jerkoff: That is one bad ass looking car man. Neil should use one of them pics for the forum.

if you don’t mind the first picture has become the background on my iphone and my computer

great use of location and the lighting he set up makes it look awesome. one of the best i’ve seen in awhile. keep it clean

Clean teg, loving that engine bay.

What Samco hose is that?

x2. Definitely worthy of such an honor.

Not to de-rail this thread from its main purpose… But I have a question… How do you make the fogs yellow on a set of 1pieces? I did the legend capsel/spring/retainer trick to my oem fogs, but the 1pieces I bought have a white/clear colored fog. Is it just as simple as swapping in a colored bulb, or does the legend setup work on the 1pieces too?

Super clean!

the JDM one pieces come stock with yellow capsuls.

very well done

I really hope the youth of the site can appreciate just how pefectly built A’s car really is. No trendy bullshit and perfectly functional while being beautiful…

And it looks as good in person as it does in Mike’s handywork.

This is not a photoshop star…

J. :horny:

Yeah, usually I have do to a few blemish removals in other cars. The only photoshop I did was to remove a couple light posts in some of the images, but I didn’t touch his car. The car is so bright and shiny red that it was screwing with the camera colors though.

And he says he wants to repaint it:crazy:

I think it looks better in person.

wow i can only hope my car looks half as good as that when she;s all said and done.

nice and simple

Absolutly beautiful!

I’m a fan of the car, but I’m not going to lie, I’m totally not a fan of this particular photoshoot. It’s the angles, lighting, and lens that are killing it for me - a lot of it just looks flat out awkward and unnatural. The only pic I really liked at all was the one at the top of the page with the lights in it (even then, the lighting on the car is just okay).

obviously not if his are bright white, i’ve been told they can have yellow capsules or none at all. to add them you have to split the lights apart theres info how to do this in the tegtips i believe, anyway still loving this car every time i look at my phone it reminds me i need a clean gsr haha

That’s it… i’m packing up my lights and going for a photoshoot…

if his lights don’t have them it’s cause they were taken apart and the capsuls were removed. it’s a fact that they have the capsuls. not to mention that i have never seen a set of jdm lights with white fogs.

Obviously, like in car building, you can’t please everyone. And yes I am a beginner in off camera flash so that would explain the lighting issue.
