Opinions on custom turbo Kit

Hey guys, I am a COMPLETE NOOB when it comes to turbos, anyway im buying this kit for my b16a LS…

Hardware:

  • Custom Log Manifold - Reinforced steam pipe, hugs engine block
  • T28 Ball Bearing - 5 bolt dump, twin blade compressor wheel, internally gated
  • Braided Oil Lines with earls fittings, t piece
  • Coolant lines with earls fittings on turbo, anodised fittings and tee pieces to stock coolant sources
  • Stock Plumb back Mistu Evo blow off valve with flanges
  • Mandrel bend intercooler pipes
  • Silicon Couplings, clamps
  • Custom aluminium intercooler painted black
  • Braided oil drain pipe with fittings on turbo

Fuel:

  • 450cc Blue Top Injectors - tested
  • 255lph Walbro pump - brand new

Electronics and Management:

  • Blitz DTT turbo timer / digital boost gauge
  • NGK V Racing 7 heat plugs new x4
  • Chipped b16a ecu with basemap to suit above kit using stock map sensor
  • Also included is a Microtech MF1 ECU which you can use instead
  • Slim radiator fans
  • Oil Pressure Gauge

What opinions, good or bad, do you have about this setup ?

Anything lacking ? any limitations ? I can also retain a/c and p/s wooo

depends on how much power you are looking to push…

is it an ls/vtec, b16 or an LS?

and a t28 might be a little small. if it is an ls-v, you can go fairly large and still be pleased.

or a b16 in an LS trim integra?

hey guys… its an LS with a b16. Im not looking for crazy power… just that little bit more to make the car more fun :slight_smile:

can anyone see anything missing from the kit that I would still need to buy ??

can’t see anything missing that i can think of at this time but it would be a good idea to get a step colder spark plugs

whats the price on what you’re getting?

seems to be a complete setup so thats really what will make it worth it or not…

hey guys, the price is around $1900 AUD

which converts to about $1600US at the current rates…

not bad since all the shopping for parts have been done…
