Ok My Integra jumped the timing and needs ALOT of work too much that I can handle or that I want to pay SO… Its on Craigslist right now for 700. and I got an offer for a 91-92 Nissan NSX Red, its Stock w/ nicks in Dings in paint Clean title runs and drives fine, yet I haven’t seen the car yet. Ive never heard of this car before, I just dont want to make the guy drive out with the car If im not going to take it if It gets bad reviews from here…
Pros - Cons Of the Nissan NSX…
Just from the name of the car and anyones experience from one, obviously No one here will actually see it or drive it to give a good answer Just curious Opinions on the 91-92NISSAN NSX
Googled the name… didnt come up with any “Nissan RSX”. Only thing close was a Nissan NX. And I’ve read some old Sport Compact testings on those compared against a CRX SI and MR2 (NA) and those performed much better than the NX.
But in your situation… If you dont have the funds and know-how to buy and swap in a different motor and need a vehicle I suggest trading.
I just dont want a car thats hard to get parts for or is notorious for problems, I dont have the capabilities for a motor swap but Should I take the CASH… if the nissan is notorius for issues…
according to that site they seem to be pretty liked. also gets good reviews on msn auto! of course the DA is by far a better car. theres no Bias there, I swear
do you have funds to fix the car? are you close to the coast in WA? im sure there are alot of members around the area that wouldnt mind giving you a hand with your car. If i had more time befor i had to report to alaska i would def give yah a hand. just cause you jumped the timing doesnt mean the motors bad. ive delt with broken timing belts on my buddys LS and his GSR both times we just replaced the timing belt and tuned it up ran like a champ its not hard at all to change the timing belt either can get a haynes manual or get online and find a step by step. but thats my .02c
my brothers GF had a nx1600 maybe it was just hers but that thing was a pile
im gonna get shit for this but, They are ugly but good cars, SR20 power, some even have t tops, not targa t like a 80s camaro, go on sr20forum.com and ask that question bet you will like what you here, any nissan car with SR power turbo or not will be reliable for the most part, but look out for cars already hacked buy mickey the mechanic, and they are called nissan pulsar NX…
and the 1.6 are great too for the slow gower, swap sr20 in and the swaps are way way cheaper than a honda swap that will make the same power,GL

The funny thing Stevo, the DA that’s in question has the same paint scheme your DB’s got, black up front, party in the back.
Not bad looking rims though, looks like they’re Hart Racing.
i don’t mind the predecessor, pulsar-also dubbed nx. kinda decent looking. once in a blue moon, you might spot a wagon.
now, i’m highly open-minded to all types of cars, but honestly, and it’s not cuz this is a devoted site, i’d keep the da. your valves likely haven’t bent. throw a new belt and waterpump on, and crank it over. i’ll bet it’ll be fine. even a da with a blown motor is more appealing than an nx. jus my opinion

if this is your car id seriously think about getting a new timing belt and water pump and slap it on, doesnt look to bad and if he had just jumped the timing maybe cause a loose tensioner id look into getting a new one and replacing it and retiming it.
