[QUOTE=90RioGS;1949742]Neil, I got a Canon Powershot SD870IS. I wanted something that was really compact, and would turn on really quickly, but also take decent pictures. I’ve had it most of the year now, and I can’t complain. It literally takes <2 seconds from hitting the power button to being ready to take a picture. If you’re already holding the button down to focus, there is a small fraction of a second between pressing it fully down and actually taking the picture. I do know what you’re talking about – I’ve used a couple Sony cameras that take FOREVER to take the picture even if you’re already focused. No problems like that with my Canon.
taken with a canon p&s sd1000. Good little camera, its pretty quick too for whoever was looking for a quick camera. lol…i just decided to test it and it took about 2 seconds to go from off to picture taken.
haha…its just hard plastic, cheap spoiler, its been hit a few times so it looks a little bent now…i think it was just zip tied on one side there too b/c it had broken off earlier. its my buddies car btw, not my own, so i won’t go cutting the lip.
Nice. I would have tried to light up statue thing a little more, but I know it probably wasn’t possible. (invest in a good hot shoe flash (I need one myself))
