Together we’re trying to rid the world of ‘pro’* photographers with crappy attitudes, sub par work and ridiculous prices. :giggle:
I use the word pro loosely. By that, I mean people that do charge for their work but not limited to full time photographers. I shoot a lot of paid gigs quite often but wouldn’t classify myself in the ‘pro’ level yet by any means.
[QUOTE=Integreddy2;1999447]What are we to you?! Just a piece of meat?! Call us out by name! lol, jk jk. Dude, your pictures are amazing. I can’t say it enough. Alaska seems like a place I need to be in. It looks very stress - free.

You would think. My job is KILLING me. If I didn’t work out so much I’d have gone off the deep end and killed someone by now. (serious)
[QUOTE=theDude;1999651]We are, sort of.

This is true. Also, owning an SLR doesn’t make you a semi-pro photographer, a semi-pro is someone who makes money off of it, but it’s not the majority of their income. I see sooo many people calling themselves semi-pro’s who’ve never had a paid gig. I also don’t think shooting for friends/families count, paid or not.
TheDude is definitely in the Semi-Pro level, by definition, and takes well into the pro level photos.
Testing out the 70-200mm @ f/2.8. Initially I was concerned that it wasn’t very sharp and even front focused a bit @ 2.8, but my concerns are disappearing.
shitty pic only meant to test sharpness and focus.
Yeah, he’s growing so freaking fast, like 20+ lbs a month. I expect he’ll surpass 100lbs in a couples months if he keeps this up and he’s only 4 months old…well, 5 months next week.
You should get one, they’re awesome. They looooove their family and are very protective over them, but it takes a lot to make them bite so you don’t have to worry about them snapping at a stranger and the proceeding law suits; They use their size to protect you. Also beware they like to cuddle on the catch with you. by cuddle I mean lay on top of you. That should be interesting when its 200+lbs.
LOL nice… Unfortunately i only have a small townhouse so it’ll have to wait till i own a house with a yard… And as for cuddling on the couch… I’m fine with that… and i’m sure at 200 lbs he’ll just rest his head…
I don’t know, I’ve read that they will try to lay their whole body on you. LOL.
If I’m sitting on the floor Dozer will sit his butt in my lap, it’s hilarious. If I’m laying on the floor he just walks up and drops on me.
Yards are required because Mastiff’s aren’t meant to be outside dogs and don’t need a whole lot of exercise. They get depressed if they’re left outside all day or kept away from ‘their family’.
But I understand not wanting to fill a small house with a huge dog.
