im not sure where the best place and relaiable place for the bung is, i know there should be a specific spot for it
Someone correct me if Im wrong but I think it should go topmost as you can of your oil pan. As far as exact location, the turbo guide says mount your downpipe before tapping the pan as the downpipe could be in the way if you just pick a spot.

yeah you want to mount it towards the top of the pan and not directly under the oil pan bolts lol… but yeah. it helps to test fit the turbo and downpipe first
And don’t forget that there is a baffle inside the pan. So you may not be able to get it exactely where you want!

fill your oil pan with 4 quarts of oil. mark where the top of the oil sits. than mount the bung just a bit up from that,
remember dont mount it where it will be under the oil.
