PICS 12k 10K Apex

Thanks, I do it for a living
both commercial and photojournalism

http://markwanzel.blogspot.com/

I run 550lb fronts and 700lb rears on Koni yellows. Definitely got some ride quality compromised there. Autocross is quite sweet though!

Don’t get me wrong she’s no caddy but it’s very tolerable.
Still waiting on a response regarding the rears

keep us updated with that

oh I will.

Hello
I have some good news
PIC called me last night and said they would replace both the DS rear strut and both rear top hats.
Should be here next week.
The problem regarding the strut was most likely a machining issue.
I’m happy.

so those pics are the coilovers set to the lowest?

As low as you can go with out touching the pre load on the spring.
Also the tires are bald 195/50/15’s

Received new parts yesterday. I was given upgraded bushings (stiffer) and a new strut. the improvement has ben great. And the ride is wonderful.
cheers

One month since the new parts have been added and I’m still very happy

nice to hear that. planning to get those coilover

I have the 12k 10k Swift spring on my sleeves with Illuminas and they don’t feel that bad at all. I daily drive my car everywhere too. My gf barely noticed a difference from the 8k 6k springs i had. I also rode in scratchymaster’s car and his also feels good for the type of springs he has also. It’s all about how you set it up. Of course it’s not an oem ride or “soft” but it’s not bad either.

Still happy with the setup.

Still Happy.
Nothing to report. I won’t post again untill they break
Cheers

Here also, I enjoyed viewing your pictures.

just another update
car is seeing 100 to 200 kms a day were right in the middle of winter and the struts seem perfect.
So far I’m impressed.

I still want those coilover !

im thinking about going to the selects soon myself.

sounds like these might be a winner for my next project.

Alert
My Right Rear strut has blown. I’m starting the warranty claim now.
