Thanks I’ve owned one since 1991, this is my third one
Only thing left is to clean up the engine bay.
Well i think you have officially scared me off of the PIC’s. I dont want to go the Koni route so i guess i will be looking at other options. Thank you for keeping up with your review thread.
Well I think after two years I finally have a working set of PICS
When purchased the rears didn’t have a full length dust boot combine this with the environment I live in and you can say good by to your shock seals. Anyway on my last set of rear shocks under warranty I was given some full length dust boots which seem to be doing their job. I also replaced the torn from boots with 88-91 civic tie rod boots which seem to be the perfect fit.
I had that same rates and coilovers on my car and ran into problems 8months using them and I switch to ksport wit same spring rates and I wouldn’t go back to anything else…
nice to see a long review of a product. also how the hell did you shoe horn that motor into the crx it looks like it barely fits. I bought a set of used koni/gc and i really can’t complain about them. i ordered a new pair of springs when i got them because he had 550/350 on it but i didn’t want that stiff so i called and they set me up with some 275’s for the rear. all in all seems to be holding up well. one in the rear seems to be getting a tad weak but again i didn’t buy them new and have never babied my car. i drive it hard almost all the time although i try to avoid really big pot holes and big bumps if i can.
I guess it all depends sometimes when it comes to suspension, i live in CT and theres alot of dirt/salt that has pretty much destroyed the body of my teg but the suspension seems to be fine.
