They both should work the same. Same moutning locations. You hav to custom a moutning bracket anyways so it doesn’t really matter

so that stuff in the ebay auction is just BS?

Oh sorry for my vague reply, i thought you were asking about fitment. if the ebay one is a dual core, then yes it should cool better… By how much? No idea :stuck_out_tongue:

EDIT: Damn that shits cheap. lol

did you have any problems with the hoses, i got mine today and the inlet/outlets both look kind of small compared to my stock rad, everything else looks good

They are a TINY bit smaller but it still fit fine. only 1 clamp.

on the mounting on the bottom of it, did you use the stock mount on 1 side and then fab your own bracket on the otherside, thats what it looks like but I wanted to make sure

4mm to be exact.

32mm vs. 36.

Wouldn’t a dual core civic rad work just as good as a full-size rad and save you the space?

i think thats the purpose, thats at least why i bought my aluminum one, save space and cool better

Wait, are you saying that all Civic rads are dual core?

If that’s true I just totally fucked myself.

comparing a stock dual core vs teg stocker… do they cool the same… dual core is better?.. or what?.. one day im gonna do something and wanna get info on this… incase the rad gives problems we can just put a factory dualcore if need be since there cheap

i dont know if they necessarily cool better, no not all civics have the dual core, the del sol and the civic si have the dual core, I got a dual core aluminum civic radiator, its 2.5 inches thick whick is almost 2 times that of the stock teg radiator and its all aluminum fully welded so it should at least cool the same if not better, the stock del sol dual core radiator should cool fine, lots of people on here have them, you can get them at www.radiatorbarn.com for like 100 bucks shipped to your door

For the bottom. I didn’t use any of the OE mounting spots. I only left the rubber cushion there so that the radiator has something soft to sit on. The only thing hanging onto it on the bottom is that bracket I maede up on the driver side. Then on the middle of the rad, it sits on the rubebr thing.

u mean like honda? del sol’s use half rad’s and have b16’s. pretty sure civic radiators are a bit thicker of a core to make up for the smaller size.

From what I’ve seen, all the stock civic half rads non dual core are just as thin as full size rads. Just slightly taller.

hey what about the hoses ? were you able to use your b18 hoses with the half size rad ?
