light is blinking
remove bulb
light isn’t blinking.
what’s improper?
don’t you get a ecu code if you just unplug the bulb and not unplug the abs comp?>
sense of humor: valuable tool in dealing with me.
i know you are joking
i remember responding to some of your other threads.
:uhoh: :werd: :fucksuvs:
“i know this has probably been discussed at least once among the hundreds of abs threads, but why again is it so bad (when its working). i know the design is pretty obsolete, but ive found that it helps me now and then. i know that i cant pulsate the brake as quickly manually. in most cases im sure i’d have skidded and lost a few feet.”
It does exactly what it’s supposed to and is alot better way of learning you went in to a turn way to hot than destroying a barrier
for me the only negatives have been
it does’nt bolt to the place racing member like it should
It’s in the way of my battery, the cage and my intake and precludes a single welded strut bar
it’s 35 pounds
It’s more complex than not having it and the less to break = the less to broke
finding axles can be fun when they have them 500 places but no rings woohoo
I can’t be stunnarific with all those places for dirt to hide
the plus
ULTRA LATE normal POINT OF DEATH braking.
My car is in one little way more sophisticated than the f1 cars of the same era.

 ya when mine isnt working i cant see how you guys can manage w/o it. thats probably why i got hit recently- it either malfunctions on startup, shortly after driving, or right when you need it. i guess that means all the time =/
Come to think of it I’ve yet to ever be in a situation so far that I’ve needed it.
chuka chaka chuka … slam…vroom !
ok 130 MPH slam the brake pedal to the floor
(silence)
(front flip)
(explosions)
I guess it does’nt work anymore
can you send me a step by step guide to swaping out the abs, including a parts list and stuff?
thanx
ya it would be sweet if we could get part numbers
For those that have removed their ABS, have you notified your insurance company so that they can remove the ABS discount?
j/k. I’ve been meaning to yank out my broke-ass abs system, but still haven’t found a non-abs donor teg in the junk yards. :argh:
Im having a bitch of a time finding a fitting for a:
Male M12x1.0 → Female M10x1.0
That is what is needed correct?
Any help would be appreciated…
Right. I found one behind the counter at a local autozone.
The other option is to cut the 10mm fitting off and install one of the 12mm fittings from your old lines using a flaring tool.

Well I was looking online…i didnt think Autozone would carry something so obscure. I guess I’ll check it out.
Nice find, too bad you cant order from the site.
I sent a request and shall have five as soon as I can!
Are you going to sell the other ones? I will buy one from you if you are.
indeedy chris–jake was supposed to send me one ages ago (upgrading to larger abs MC in car that never had ABS) but he’s pretty much fallen off the face of the earth. haven’t heard from him in ages.
if you get any extras can i have one?
that is, if the fitting will work. according to the photo it looks like the flare goes the wrong way to seal properly… :uhoh:
Yeah, i dunno how/if they will work…I will most certainly sell the extras.
I FINALLY went for a drive in my Teggy today (1st time since October 18th) with the new engine and all was good until my brakes locked up (like I read they would with the non-abs MC) :bang:
So I need to do something quick. I assume chopping off the old fitting and reflaring the line would be the best, but Ive never done it and would have to go buy the tools. …Hmm, well new tools might not be a bad idea.
