HP numbers? but Its a Garrett t25 off a 300zx, && the spring on the wg goes to 4psi… and that little turbo spools up FAST; around 1300 that is… and i have unplugged the wg and hit a full 15psi in

hey guy’s im thinking of turbo but my ? is i did a compression test got 160 psi in all cyn but the bottom block is 200+k on it you think i could boost i want like 8 psi b18a block with jdm head
man if the test is the same along the lot then i wouldnt worry
when i decided to do mine it was 180 all round i think and i did it expecting to rebuild because mine did 280XXXkms

hey turbociv910, what type of ignition are you running? i noticed your spark plug wires are a different type…like a k series.
he is running a COP ignition setup, it eliminates the distributor.

I know Im going to sound like a noob at this, but i have the same turbo laying around i just need to rebuild it, Garrett t25 off of my friends 300zx, i’ve been wanting to turbo my teggy but im lost and i dont know where to start, I was thinking the most basic set up then start upgrading things up, any help would be appreciatted, Thanks… I’ll be ok with 5 psi, not planning on abusing it till i start upgrading…

Its a good read if you not too familiar with turbo setups.
