Just got me a G1!

And an HID kit for dirt cheap.
i’ve got over 2 years in. it was 2 years in august. the first week is the worst, and after that, it gets better. just don’t give in, just remember that it’s always darkest before the dawn. and don’t expect the cravings to ever go away either, i still get them all the time. almost every day, actually. but you will thank yourself in a couple months when you smell someone else smoking, and it totally grosses you out. you don’t notice how horrible it smells until you quit. the worst is when someone comes inside from smoking in the cold, and when someone comes inside from smoking in the rain. :vomit:

just keep at it. :)
I quit smoking 9 years ago and I still love the smell of cigarette smoke.

the smell of the cigarette being lit is delicious. after that, it’s disgusting to me.

nice. i considered getting the g1, but i think they make you add a data/txt plan for like $30 a month. i dont really want to add that to my plan, and i would have to change my old ass plan around

Blackberry Storm

I’ve had it for a week. It is sweet, just takes a little while to get used to.

I thought I was the only one who liked that smell. Its just that very first smell right as its being lit… mmm… :frowning:

^ditto. ex-smoker too.

I’ve had the surround. Nice Onkyo system. Just got the stand and TV. 60" Sony 1080p SXRD.

Very nice Travis.

Thanks James. It was my gift to myself.

Haven’t swiped a credit card in a year, been buying everything in cash. I had set aside some money wanting to upgrade, and I was able to do it without charging it. That was the goal.

I’m not a big TV show watcher, but I like movies, and I have my brother and friends over for video games and stuff, so it was my one gift to myself this year.

Cash is the only way to fly. We’ve been doing that for years.

:werd:

I’ve been doing my best. It’s not easy at times, but it’s definitely the ONLY way.

We have no ‘available’ credit. No cards, nothing. If we can’t buy it in cash the only other option would be to steal it.

We could have cards but we’re trying to pay everything off so if we just don’t have any we can’t run up any more. We’ve paid off close to 20K in debt this year.

good for you man! discipline is key to getting ahead.

I work for T-Mobile and you’re right, you need a data feature for the G1. It’s $24.99 for data and 400 SMS, or $34.99 for data and unlimited SMS. As for your plan; if its extremely old you will have to change it for compatibility reasons. Call customer service and ask for options you may be surprised.

Only for people who cannot control themselves. Credit cards are usually an important tool for most people in establishing credit.

Enjoyed this on Sat. Fuddruckers 1/2lb. Bacon Cheddar burger smothered in their Jalapeno cheese, frieds smothered in the Jalapeno cheese, onion rings w/ some BBQ sauce and a Dr. Pepper. Mmmmmmm. And it’s so healthy for you

I’m looking for a new tv as well. Should I be looking for 1080i or 1080p?
