its all about the undercarriage not the lips,
i say, rip the lips off and go down another 2 inches and you’ll b there
Im already like 2.5 off the ground if i go down 2 more I’ll be .5 i cant even get out of my driveway that low its down 3" now
i would love to slam my car alot more… but with my traction bars i already have enough problems were it sits… the are like 2.7" off the ground
hopefully by next year i will get rid of these and go with explicit that dont sit so low
i dont plan on driving it when there is snow on the roads… i figure these would double as a snow plowel …lol
welcome to the site Christian
I’ll take some pictures from my ugly side, but I’m on DA GC/Koni with GC tophats, the front is down almost all the way and the rear has a lot more to go, but I’m pretty definite I’m slammed. My front camber is at -4 and rear is at -1.5 or -2
DUMPED?
yes
on stock wheels, greddy exhaust has less than an inch of ground clearance at its lowest point (resonator along mid-pipe)
/from the the big Mid-Atlantic meet in Sept at Hybrid Garage/
^
with 16x7 5Zigen FN01R-C wheels (custom blue lip :naughty: done by yours truly) the exhaust has about 1.5" of ground clearance.
NO DAYLIGHT under that car from the side
For the record, my ride isn’t bouncy. QUALITY SUSPENSION FOR THE WIN!!!
Koni Yellow/Ground Control Coils (rates: 380F/450R)
ES COMPLETE BUSHING SET (every bushing on the suspension replaced)
Suspension Techniques Sway-Bars (new bushings included with them as well)
and much much more
ride quality is awesome with the shocks on their “soft” setting, and the handling is nuckin futs when they are on their stiffest setting.

Quick question does any one know the offset of these wheels? Thanks in advance
troof
being lowered, is not slammed.
look at any “Slammed Thread” on any site on the internet. one of the “rules” of the thread is:
“If your car isn’t tucking tires/wheels because you ‘Can’t go any lower because of the roads’ then you aren’t slammed”
We’re not trying to pick on you or anything, but if your not slammed, your not slammed.
This is a SLAMMED thread, not a “Post your LOWERED Tegs” thread.
I’m just trying to make sure that everyone knows the difference. My car tucks tires at all 4 corners, barely has an inch of ground clearance on my exhaust (which has had the hangers adjusted to give it a bit more ground clearance) and I COULD GO LOWER. If I put the Ground Control sleeves on the bottom perch of the Koni Shocks Koni Yellows have a snap ring with 3 height settings, they are currently on the top setting I would sit about another 1.5-2 inches lower. In the rear, I still have about 2.5" of threaded coil left. I could have the car damn near sitting on the pavement if I wanted to. But I won’t.
My car is noticeably lower than any other cars in my area. I’m the lowest car in the 3 or 4 neighboring towns, and cannot go over ANY form of speed-bumps whatsoever.
I even tried to have my license plate changed to “ANT KLLR” but it was taken. lol.
Mine Slammed? YES. voted “SUPER SEXY SLAMMED” approved on 3 other sites, lol.
This is something to be proud of?
That’s what I never understood about threads like this. It’s basically praising unfunctionally lowered cars, and blatantly showing that the pleasure of driving a tuned car comes second to looking low to the ground.
heres mine. now i just bolted on the the funtion form setup and my car is still not on the ground cause im waiting on my axles so here they are with my car on jack stands
^ not gonna bother. I have posted pics of mine and all my wheels meet the fenders…like .5 finger gap and I got shit anyway! If I lowered my car anymore, I wouldnt be able to enter my driveway! I have had friend actually get stuck at the top of my driveway…driving that low is just crazy! I admit, I love the way it looks…but you all can keep it! I only dump mine @ Trophy time of points!

You know me, that’s just how I am. You do, however, know that my setup is very “functional” Just need to raise it up a bit for track days etc.
I was just defining what would be considered the average interpretation of “Slammed”
