post up your exhaust

I got a Megan racing test pipe for 45 bucks shipped… Most sites want over 100 for the same part with a name brand on it… A straight piece of metal is a straight piece of metal I say.
Same here. Everyone was getting mad at me on another forum for buying my uppipe and downpipe new. I just feel better wearing stuff in myself.

Oh and I took the Integra out for some gas the other day, and I realized that the exhaust really has gotten kind of raspy. It’s a throaty rasp though not like a bumble bee, just a really fricken loud braaaap. I have been running with no cat for a long time though so those resonators have been exposed to a lot of heat, I’m not surprised that it has gotten as loud as it is.
Mine has gotten louder also in 2 months of use, all of that with a cat… I think once they break in they get louder and louder

Eh, I wouldn’t resist putting a test pipe on there if your concern is extra heat past the midpipe. HKS doesn’t exactly use the best materials to construct their exhausts (although they do have an awesome design), I’m willing to bet they are built for performance and not longevity. I’m pretty sure the resonators are glasspack, which are definitely not good for retaining muffling capability over time.

Greddy SP2 and Ti-C

I’m planning on buying either the Greddy SP2 or the Greddy Ti-C Cat-Back Exhaust. Does anyone have pics or videos?

can anyone guess mine???

i’ll try to get one in the next few days.
2.25" piping to a j’s racing replica turn down muffler, also a newer cat off a 2000 si if that makes a difference, stock header and aem short ram. sounds real mellow and deep with normal driving. once you get on it it gets loud but not annoying buzzing loud.
where to buy the j’s replica?

Greddy SP2. Magnaflow high flow cat

how does this puppy sound? how much did it cost? i really want to tackle a full 3" project myself, any fitment issues? you wouldnt happen to have the dimensions laying around by any chance would you?

it sounds amazing. i have a video clip so you can judge for yourself. i paid 420$ for it. fitment is very nice. it sometimes vibrates on the rear swaybar at certain rpm’s and conditions, but i got a jdm itr bar going on and it mounts lower so that’ll solve that minor issue.

when i got it

this is what i put on it later, i got tired of the fart can…

its a little dirty though… as you can see the bumper was damaged above the tip from the fart can being installed too high and melting it
