All other catbacks on the g2 are not nearly up to these 3’s level.

Need some help guys. The car originally had a cheap ebay muffler on it and it was terrible to ride in. It gave me headaches… but it had a deep sound and it was nice outside. Well, i still changed it out. I searched for awhile and found a car with a similar setup to mine, but his sounds WAY better than me…
On the inside, all i can hear is the motor… I love it. but on the outside Im worried it sounds ricey, and I don’t like that…
What can I do? I’ve spent a good chunk of money trying to fix it, and don’t know what else I can do…
Its a 92 DA with a B16, no name headers, 2 1/4" piping and a cheap muffler in the place of the cat. Heres a clip to show how it sounds.

Yeah your exhaust sounds rice, get a CAT please, it will sound a lot better. I have a tanabe hyper medallion with a high flow cat, megan header, aem intake and my exhaust system sounds very clean and respectable. Buy quality parts and you will get quality sound!
Ive had a lot of people say it’s the Apex’i. I know N1’s sound like crap (at least I think so) but I figured the WS2 would sound better after hearing it on another car.
have you heard how a ws2 exhaust system sounds? it sounds very good if you had the cat back. I believe it’s you not having a cat on that makes it sound like that. Just get a high flow cat, it will sound a lot better

how do you guys run without a catalytic converter and drive? It sounds so ugly without one…
Mine came without one, or I would have left it on there.
I forgot which one i have, but it bolted right up to my exhaust system
that’s what i have on my car, i wish everyone would just get a high flow cat if you don’t want to use the stock cat, that’s why people always look at honda and think rice because it sounds like CRAP
