Im getting a wastegate thats set at about 4 psi. im gonna run about 7-8psi.I have a boost controller so my question is, is it ok to go that far safely. like what im say is like is it ok to go from 4 to 7. or i boost controllers only good for 1-2 psi? thanks
Are you sure it’s a 4lb wastegate spring? That seems kind of low. But regardless, you can raise your boost that much with a boost controller no problem. I dont’ know where you heard they’re only good for 1-2psi.
yeah it say 3.6 something. but i was just wondering how far you could strech the psi safely
PSI is very stretchy, you can stretch it way out… :wtf:
Just messing with you, I’m not sure of a limit to tell you on raising boost. Is it a manual or electronic boost controller? I know people running over 30psi on either type.
ok. just wasnt sure. i could of got one with a 6psi spring for $30 more but if i got the controller it doesnt make a difference then? its a manual controller.
It wouldnt be 3.6 BAR would it?
