Here you go:
CLICK HYPERLINKS BELOW!!!
S2000 push start button instructions for Integra Typer R
S2000 Install Instructions for Mazda Miata (different car, but better information)
Not sure how relevant the miata instructions are, but they have great info on the push start button.
By the way, I don’t think B-Series website will ever get more pictures on the Type R install instructions.

just buy some regular button at car shop for $3
my dad has one on his car, because he can’t start his car with the key, since he had a problem with the key ignition, so the mechanic guy told him to buy a button… all they did was pluggin a wire to the button and plug it directly to the starter… not sure how he did, but it is something easy to do…
Ok, i don’t where to begin…
you CANNOT just buy any $3 button and expect to get it to work as an engine start…OK? They cost $30 for a reason…mainly because, the large gauge wire, insulated connectors, FUSE…so on. and by they way, I got mine for free, i have a discount there at autozone. haha. and i don’t know why everyone thinks there so hard to install, it took me 10 mins, and i didn’t even have the instructions…
you can buy any switch and use it as a push button start…my friend got a normal flip switch and used it as his starter…u flip the switch to on and it turns the car on and once the car is started u just flip it back off and there u go ur cars started and u can go about ur business…there is no CERTAIN gauge wire u need to use…if u pull ur inigtion apart u will see the wires are relativly small to begin with…so just go get any button unless u want something fancy…im gonna put one on my car today i already have a toggle switch setup.
IMO toggle switches are for arming nitrous systems and such, not for starting you car. an s2000 button looks better than any switch on your dash…
HA, screw all of you and ur keys and buttons! i want the new mercedes ingition system!!! i get in the car with my car and push a button and off i go.
oh man, that would be awesome!!!
anyone know how much the mercedes keyless ignition would cost to put on a teg or any other car for that matter?
good god man are you serious, could u imagine the $$ that would cost? lol
joe:D
AutoZone and Advance Auto both sell a Ignition button for 2.99. I know because I got one for myself since the start position on my car no longer works. I would say that as long as you use something like 12 gauge you should be fine. All it has is two connections. Just connect one to the same spot that the stock power cable goes to on the starter and connect the other wire to the spade connector on the starter, the one with a thin wire covered with a boot. You won’t need this connected any more so you can just leave it unplugged.
Does anyone have pictures of an Install of there start button? I just wanna see where you put it.
Im thinking about putting mine below the Hazard , fog , defrost switches
thanks in advance
YEA MAN!!
here ya go homie ~~>> http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4289228093&congratulation_page=Y
BEWARE - depending on the depth of the button ur gonna hafta do a little bit of fancy footwork…lol
joe:D
What wires did u connect it to joe??
Angel BTW… nice setup…
i know that IGNITED sells the push button start and has instructions on how to install the unit with clutch bypass and all, i have it on my G2 but dont have any pics, did it a long time ago and cant rly remember the way it went in but i can tell you if i did it, it wasn’t hard lol

none of the links work… i got the button today… i got it from the dealer for $36 which isn bad… and got delivered to my job…
i found other links but they dont show for Da’s
Whats the Part # from the Dealer.
Easiest way…hook a wire from the battery to the switch and then from the other side of the switch to the Starter…thats all.
Make sure your key is in the ON position
wel its really not that easy there are other wires for the “red” illumination of the button .
