Question on boost controllers.

I have been studying flow maps and i think i figured out the best one for my car running 9lbs on stock internals. a T3 “60” trim compressor. I spool up pretty good and i don’t go past the best efficency portion of the turbo

now I did my plotting based on 4000 - 6500rpm would have full boost while from idle to 4000 would be rising boost pressure.

In order to have full boost pressure from 4000-6500 do i need a boost controller of some sort or will the wastegate be able to provide this type of tuning?

The waste gate will open depending on the size spring in it. Say it has a 7 psi spring it will open at 7 regardless of what rpm your at. A boost controller limits the amount of boost to the waste gate, tricking it to thinking your running less boost. That way you can choose your own boost level.
