i just wanted to kno if it is ok to boostan lsvtec with a rebuilt bottom end and the compression ration is at 10.1.
with a perfect tune it’s possible to boost a little bit. Get a thick head gasket or something, that’s a bit of a stretch
theres no problem with it, i have a boosted ls/vtec b16 head all b16 internals, 11.5 compression running 8psi. runs like a champ and fun to drive
look at the g2ic engine swap guide there is a guide in there for turbo and it will tell you good cr ratios to use
you can boost any engine as long as the head gasket can handle the effective c/r. in fact, a compression ratio of around 10.5:1 is ideal so that the spool time is quick while avoiding knock.
