Is the stock clutch substantial, should I get a Stage 1, or maybe even a stage 3? What are your opinions on clutches for a turbo project?
New stock clutches will hold about 50hp over stock. Anything more than that and it’s toast. I always run a CM Stg 5 on all the turbo cars I build. But we always make about 300whp on street tunes, so we need all the clutch we can get. The clutch is very streetable, and nice and grabby when you need it.
stage 5 streetable?!?! i thought only up to stage 3 was?

im just curous… is that a total pain in the a$$ to drive on the street? im thinking of checking out the stage 4 in the next month or so.
