Questions after reading the Turbo Guide.

After reading the Turbo Guide for this forum, I have questions.

  1. What about the vacuum lines that are connected to the intake manifold, etc?
  2. How badly is the brake booster affected since it mostly operates off of vacuum?
  3. And again, I see handfuls of vacuum lines in my engine bay mostly on the intake manifold and all along the firewall, WTF? It’s not like these things need positive pressure. Or am I just missing something here?

Hopefully someone can clear some of this up.

All of your vaccum lines will be fine you will not be running boost through the vac lines in the sense that they are going to blow off buddy. Your brake booster will be affected not at all.
