would adding turbo to an auto even work right? would it even be worth it?
i’m still waiting on the rest of the parts i need to convert my car to a 5-speed and in the mean time, i’m already in the process of collecting the parts i need to do a custom turbo setup on my car.
i heard of people using DSM injectors on their cars and not having to use an fmu. is this ok? i mean, it does sound a little easier than using an fmu, but will DSM 440 injectors fit and work right on our cars?
Simple answer is that it will work on an auto. You’ll never get the performance of 5-speed car, but it will fit and it will work. Whether your tranny holds together is a whole nother story. If you’ve got high miles, be prepared to change your transmission.
There’s a couple of things you can do to prep your tranny tho. Add an oil cooler with external filter and change the fluid often (12,000 miles).
