I haven’t installed my Thermal yet, but my 2.25" TRUST exhaust is really quiet at idle and moderate throttle. Under WOT, it roars, though. I would hope my Thermal is the same without the restriction, but I seriously doubt it, since it not only is .75" larger, but doesn’t have a resonator, either.

my friend has that same exhaust…it sounds great…but hella loud!!

I’ve got the HKS Hiper, it’s all broken in and pretty loud. I can’t imagine running a turbo through it. I’ve already gotten a ticket for deffective exhaust!

My hyper used to be very loud, but once you put a turbo on it actually makes the exhaust quieter because the turbo acts as a muffler. Its a little louder than stock but much deeper, which is very nice because the major sound is now the turbo spooling up. I also still run my cat so i imagine anything will be loud if you choose not to run one. HTH
