This is the best exhaust I have ever had so far. If you want something that sounds nearly stock and looks nearly stock then this is the exhaust for you. The best part about the exhaust is that it does not attaract unwanted attention such as police and ricers. The exhaust has a beautiful tone to it, think 4cylinder 350Z, and when you hit Vtec it has a very nice scream to it.

im sorry everyone, i know i might be in the wrong thread, but this is the closest thread that can PERHAPS answer my NOOBIE question…in regards to the axle-back only, im not so sure if the exhaust piping on the DA is different from the DB1…but are the mufflers the same size(length-wise) on both the DA and DB1?
the reason why i ask is because everwhere i search, i only find exhaust systems for the 2 door, not the 4 door. im in the market for the RS*R EXMAG because i love the stock look and the quiet tone that it gives. i just wanted to know this because i wanna know what im getting myself into before i get it…do i need to to some modifications/welding/pipe extending? or will it just bolt up just the same?

WHOA. after reading most of this thread page 1 thru now. im set on getting the hyper medallion. rsr might be too soft for my liking and sp2 right next to it. i’d like to have a little rumble and the exhaust really sounds nice at WOT and blends nicely with the motor.:rockon:

I love this exhaust, then again I like my cars loud but sounding good. Yes, I do realize that statement might sound a bit ricer-ish but there is a difference between just loud/noisy and loud with a good tone. I think the Skunk2 Megapower offers loud while at the same time having a good tone. However, on long road trips when you stop to get out, your ears ring a little bit. Next time I take a trip I will definitly toss the silencer in it before the trip. Overall it’s a great exhaust!

you will have to do some modification. i think it would be a risk worth taking if you really want to do it but its all up to you

does anyone have the tanabe medallion touring? i have heard that tanabe no long made the super hyper medallion, and has replaced it with the medallion touring. i would like to know if the medallion touring will be worth the money.

cheap $25 high flow cat from ebay-my gutted cat got me tickets, was a open chamber that was great for making it loud!
not sure on what numbers i’d give it cause i like the ricey sound, but hate how annoying they get. this setup appears stock the way it’s placed and has a quiet but deep tone especially at idle, and more of a raw power, racey sound when laying into it. it’s loud, but not obnoxious, sort of raspy at points and of course it’ll be loud at full boost cause of the external dumptube.
no annoying fart can sounds here though, no ringing ears after long trips, and doesn’t attract cops if your not getting on it too hard. only times ive been harassed it is when it had bad gaskets and leaked. i say its great on a daily, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!
roughly costed $300 from a muffler shop, was installed before i owned the car but i have reciepts.
