Rate your exhaust!!!!

can you send me pics, under car and from back view? ntegragsrryda@yahoo.com

I have a 92 Teg GS with a Revolution exhaust on it
Loudness 8
Ricey sound is not there. It just has the nice honda motor sound that I like. Very nice muffler

I am kinda fond of my Thermal R&D catback myself…sounds good has stock like design…good flow…

Stock muffler with 2 1/2 inch piping and a y pipe for those drag nights. Love it because its one less reason for the cops to be a dick…

Is anyone running Flowmaster mufflers on there integra or other import. I kinda always wondered what it would sound like.

loudness-5

i love the sound of the hks hiper as well as the natural offset. have had nothing but compliments on the sound. not ricey at all. best exhaust for g2 imho. had to bend the piping a little after i put my rs rear lip on, but other than that, no problems. (hangs really low since the muffler angles upwards, mine is scraped to sht)

custom 2.25" piping w/ no resonators

loudness-10

don’t try at home, very ugly sounding, no back pressure, WAAAAY too loud. you’d have to yell to your passengers on the freeway.

w/ resonators
not as bad, but still :ghetto:

i want kteller 2.5" madrel bent piping but he doesnt make bolt up kits for DA’s and i asked him about the custom madrel bent pipes for DA’s in 2.5" and he hasnt got back to me yet …

i was thinking if we cold get enough people on the board that would like kteller bolt up piping we could get him to make some …he said not enough people want the DA piping so its not worth making teh program and etc …

well i wish he could because i really need piping and i dont trust custom muffler shops because im not sure if they’re mandrel bent

yea i know …alot of the ones by me only have crush bent and dont know what madrel bent is …i think mineki is the only place that might have madrel bent around where i live unless i travel like an hour away to lo…but i just looked at Ktellers site and he has 2.5" mandrel bent for 90-93 DA integra’s in stainless and mild steel … but this isnt the bolt up kit …i think im goin to get that and a 2.5" test pipe and resonator from kteller and take it to a shop have them do all the welding and etc …

Mine is a custom exhaust.

2" Mandrel bends

Out of 10-
Performance: 8 (decent power gains over stock, good low-end punch)
Looks: 10 (stock is best!!)
Sound: 8 (sounds exactly like a 350Z, sporty and not too much from the exhaust, its mostly intake noise  )

maybe i might post pics and sound later

well ive decided on Kteller.com 2.5" madrel bend piping kit with a 2.5" test pipe and 2.5" resonator witha 2.5" tanabe muffler …with a JDM DC 4-1 header …ill let you guys know once i get it all on …

Greddy sp exhaust
Megan racinf 4-2-1 header

Let me tell you this exhaust is freakin quiet when it didnt have the header it porbably wasnt much louder than stock.

Ryan

How do you like the Megan Racing 4-2-1?

I am looking at one myself, and I was curious as to how the welds and fitment on a stock system are. Did you get a signifigant increase in airflow vs Stock, Or should i just save the 170 bucks for something else?

I’ve heard mixed reviews on the headers, but the more opinions, the better!

Custom 2.25" exhaust w/ Flowmaster DeltaFlow 40 Series and glasspack resonator

Loudness:6

I’ve been running this exhaust/muffler for about two weeks now. The sound is clean, deep, and pretty mellow. Not a whole lot louder than stock, but definately deeper and beefier. Sometimes it sounds like my intake is louder than my exhaust. I felt a pretty nice power gain from adding this; the power band started at lower RPM’s and was much smoother throughout.

I tried running this setup without a resonator first, but it was too loud and raspy. After adding the glasspack, the tone smoothed out tremendously and sounded much cleaner. I think I lost a bit of power when adding the glasspack and it actually seems a bit louder inside the car now (glasspack sits pretty much under the center of the car). I might try with just a “regular” resonator to see if that gets me back that little bit of power i think i lost.

At first I was a bit wary of putting a Flowmaster on my riceburner. I run the same muffler on my Chevy V-8 and it sets off car alarms. But, it turned out real nice. They actually make an import muffler (60 series) but they didn’t have one at the shop I used. I’d like to hear from someone runnning that model.

Overall, I’m real happy with this setup and would recommend it to anyone.

what kind of resonator do you have? or how long

your advice

ok guys i’m planning on replacing my exhaust (once i get my car back out of storage) from the monifold back… what’s the best 4 2 1 header, and the cat, does anyone on here have the fireball dual exhaust (ebay), what do you think of it? please list the quality of materials and the sound. thanks allot guys.

i have comptech integra type r headers, shortened cat, thermal r&d full exhaust and its just right

Changed setup a bit. still same JG turbo manifold, Precision Turbo, 2.5" DP, 22" Magnaflow resoantor, Ractive muffler.

Loudness at idle is about 1-2, WOT is about 6-7

did you ever get that put on? i was thinking of going the same route. i just installed a JDM RSR header(4-2-1) on my b16 and am stuck with a stock exhaust system. i wanted a 2.25 or 2.5 mild kit with a high flow cat and resonator. if you got it already, minus the header, how much did yours cost with shop labor and all and do you think its worth it? or is it better to just buy a real cat-back system like RSR, Greddy, Tanabe ect…
