The other thing you might also consider is what kind of look DA6TEG is trying to achieve: JDM purist, bastardized JDM, Euro-DM? That would bear heavily on whether the fog lamp is on the left or the right of the vehicle.

Just to clarify the rear fog goes on the drivers side. I know because I lived in germany and my bmw had a fog on the drivers side too, it’s for extra visibility in bad weather more than it’s for lighting the road. They are wired seperately from the driving lights so you can use them while the vehicle is parked on the side of the road with the engine off as well as while driving. I remember that because it killed my battery many times. They’re cool and all, but the weather isn’t really a problem here in sunny tucson.

Maybe if it was on both sides, then ok. it kinda looks like a those stock headlights for a trailer, which you can find anywhere.
considering i dont have the money to drop for a real fog light i made my own. i took the tail lights apart and cliped the wires on the harness to make the outside light the tail and the inside the brake light. i took them apart to paint the back of the reflector and seal off the center of the tail so no light would pass from one side to another, then i made the left tail light a fog by wireing up the brake function to a sitch wired to the tail lights so the light only comes on when the tail lights are on. also while i was in there i took out the clear pice inside the red part of the tail light and sanded down the pink sripe on the clear part to make them really clear… taking out the clear pice in the lower part of the tail light makes them look alot newer and i think the light up better. i like the jdm light though!!

I would post pics but my computer blows. I can’t put the software on my computer. Windows 2000 sucks. I will definately post some pics when I figure this out. Then I can show off my custom rear bumper…

From my relatives in London, supposedly the logic for only having 1 is If you have two fogs they can be mistaken for brake lights.
I Got two rear fogs on my 90-91 rear bumper on my DA if anyone out there need help or pics text me at 805-598-4705 I’ll let you know the proplems and steps I encountered installing them thanks leave some positive feed back

ps am selling the rear bumper super clean with (2) rear fogs and support cut readie to bolt up!!
Does anybody know if the DC2,DC5 and the EG have the same rear fogs? It would be nice to see all 3 fogs line up next to each other for comparison.
heres a shot of my foglight, i customized mine to work sort of like a 3rd brake light. i took the socket off of some other integra lights, which basically gave me 3 wires instead of the 2 that it comes with. looks good that way and keeps the cops from messing wit you, cause its pretty bright.
