no its wired to a switch and you contorl when you want it to be on.
nah its on it just gets brighter when you step on the brakes. ive seen it done to a few other cars with the rear fog light 2.

That looks ridiculous…^^^ Please, no one replicate that. Using it as a 3rd brake light is also retarded and not the point.
The rear fog light option was avalable on RHD cars and was mounted on the left side rear and was used for backing up or parking on side of road, the ones I have seen only work if switch was on and when in reverse, the stock fog light switch was used to turn on a second fog light relay and back-up litght power was run through the relay to the fog light.
You can do the same thing, [use stock fog light switch] and connect the reat fog light up to the output of the stock fog light relay, [all fog light on when switch is on] if you want to drive with rear fog light on, I would check with local DMV to see if it is legal to drive with a fog on the rear first. 94
