Question #1- Will this setup work? #2- What boast level could you run safely? #3- What kind of horse power could you exspect? #4- Is there anything i need to change in this setup?
vafc’s are for bums.
option 4 would be ok if it said chip your ecu instead of vafc. vafc has built in vtec controls but it also has more ‘tuning points’ if you want to call it that.
The reason i have it, is because i payed next to nothing for it. And i seen people use it on non vtec motors. One day i will chip my comp, i just thought i could use it.
Ah, you can, but with the advances in ECU tuning these days…you are better off selling that VAFC and getting $150-200 for it and using that money in a more constructive manor.
depending on your compression ratio if you got 9/1 compression your should be good for about 15 lbs of boost with good tuning and good gas my buddys runnin an ls turbo and hes pushin 25 lbs with just forged internals and crower tage 2 turbo cams and its a fast ass car
