Fender looks great buddy. Garage or booth?
yeah it matches. its actually just a hair darker than the rest of the car. but Captiva Blue Pearl is SUPPOSED to be the shade of blue that’s pictured. the rest of the car has 16 year old paint, so its a little “faded” and looks a little lighter that it should. but its a definite match another thing that may make it look a little off is that all my Integra pics are outside with variable lighting depending on the time of day. since these pics were taken inside my dads tool building, the lighting is a little more “controlled”
thanks for all the compliments, though. i’m waiting for my new inner fender to arrive, and the car will be ready to drive
i’m also going to redo my carbon fiber hood this week as well :)
Cut and buff the rest of the car and it will match better plus it will clean up you old paint
garage
i need all the little plastic screws/hardware that attaches it to the car. which number is the kit that i need on this diagram from Del Ray Acura:
i need to know which number/part number it is so i can get this stuff ordered asap. some of them were broken in the wreck, and the others were broken when i took off the inner fender.
NEED ASAP!!
The attached image has all the PN’s for the fender section, but the site I got them from doesnt have pictures, but if you go to oemacuraparts you should be able to punch the number in and see whats what.
edit
The pic isnt really readable, so heres a copy/paste from the same page

car is alive and home.
pics of her revived will be up in due time. i’ve sent picture messages to some people’s phones, so they have seen the sneak peeks, so to speak.
as soon as i can get the pics uploaded, you shall all see what my hard work accomplished.
rule of thumb:
don’t EVER let an insurance company or a body shop scare you out of fixing your car. if it LOOKS fixable, it probably is.
:bump:
PICS OF THE “REBIRTH”
Starting to look like a car again:
New fender Installed:
The paint shade is only obvious because of the flash, and the fact that the fender is clean, and the rest of the car isn’t.
Bumper lenses back on:
Only thing missing is the hood.
She wanted to lend a hand:
Lookin FRESH!
Shot of the whole area of work:
Carbon hood was stripped, sanded, and re-cleared.
The only part i couldn’t completely fix:
Not too worried about the lip, honestly. I’m buying JDP’s OE2 lip as soon as he replies to my email **COUGH COUGH, John **
My dad having a look at the finished product:
“looking at the wrong side, dad. Wreck was on the passenger side” lol
Ready to return to the road:
car sets obnoxiously low, so i had to put blocks under the wheels so i could get the jack out.
took it for a drive, did some brake and steering tests etc. and the car is back 100% mechanically.
there is still a little work to be done, i have to roll with a dent behind the passenger door for the time being, as i am waiting for my insurance check to clear, so i can get the dents pulled and rust fixed. THEN, the entire car is getting a new paint-job!
i want to thank all those that supported me and offered kind words. as well as my dad for lending his helping hand, advice and industrial powered air compressor :giggle:. my uncles, Alvin and Junior, for letting me use their paint guns etc. couldn’t have done it without those wonderful pieces of equipment.
My friends Ricky (8urcivic) for the motivation, Robbie (cheesenip) for the new inner fender, Ryan for the new fender ($20 hookup ftmfw), Marshall (Phantisy) for being a good friend and offering motivation to keep it alive. thanks to everyone who has ever had anything to say about the ride, if it wasn’t for the kind words of everyone on here and all the other sites this car is known on, i probably wouldn’t have had the motivation to keep going with it. this is just the beginning.
she lives again, and soon the car will be, cosmetically anyway, better than ever.
Looks good, congrats on a job well done. Now you just need to change the thread title lol.
good call,
mod(s), could someone edit the title?
maybe just put “rebuild complete, pics pg 6” or something in the title?
thanks alot

thanks guys, as of today, its all “legal” again. i had to get the plates reactivated and had insurance put back on it. liability for now, full coverage when i can get it inspected to verify that its safe and “eligible” for full coverage.
which mod edited the title? i need to know who to thank
she is alive and kicking, and drives so smooth. its good to have her back. for those that have rebuilt a wrecked car that you had such a connection with (like me with this DA) you guys know how i feel. its so gratifying having the integra back to life.
Lookin good man. What are you going to do about the pinstripes?
when i go to repaint the entire car, there will be no pinstripes left
