I just did it to my car this morning…It looks 100x better…tight ass teg tip…

Oh yah…If you cant find the Castrol Super Clean…Theres some stuff called Purple Power…its the same shiet…Thas wut i used, cuz i couldnt find the Castro Super Clean…Purple Power is also found at Kregan n’ shiet. It cost like 5 bucks…and you dont have to use it all…

Alan (Darkdb1), told me to use the Purple Power…so i did, and it worked…

Ahhh…:)…the tail lights are very satisfying to look at.

yeah my friend told be about it being banned a few weeks ago. I gotta check that out, and if so, I gotta look for it at some local stores that still might have it on the shelves and buy them out. Super Clean is the best degreaser there is.

Theres some stuff called [SIZE=5]Purple Power[/SIZE] (white spray bottle w/ purple writing)…it works just like Castol super clean…Thas wut i used to clear my tail lights out…:slight_smile:

You can find it at Kregan and Pep Boys…

purple power definately works
it might not be as strong so it might take longer but it works just the same as super clean. i did my tails with purple power and one of them came out perfect, the other one sort of has a little bit of pink left. just let the degreaser sit longer and dont rush it, then your tail lights should be looking white.

But you knoe, by taking it apart and sanding it, the tail lights will look frosted…

i just bought a bottle of Super concentrated Simple Green today…hope it works. it was either that or the generic Super clean that comes in a HUGH purple jug. Didnt feel like walkin home from walmart with this huge jug so i just figured id try the super simple green. (walking cuz the teg is in peices). ill try it out sunday cuz i have no work.

I did mine with Purple Power a few weeks ago, only had to put a little bit in, and with hot water it only took one try.

fuck my passenger side light, I swear im about to fucking take a hammer to it. the dumb shit has me working more than an hour on it with purple power, while the drivers side takes a simple 1 minutes swoosh and done. these pink spots seem to want to stay, and i have work in 1 hour (never expected it to take this long) so yea looks like im gonna mount them in 20 minutes and have one queer ass light. Anyone have advice or an extra pass light hit me up at precision024@hotmail.com

Purple power works great. taking out the tails was the hardest part of the entire process.
