sometimes you really gotta swish it around hard, your pretty much trying to scrub the shit off with water molecules. it took me a good long time to get mine done, and my hands were really pruney afterwards :hyper:
Ok I went to a different parts store and they didnt have castrol either but they had these 2, greas lightning, and purple power, I decided to get purple cuz it was nearly 4 dollars cheaper. if that dont work. Im looking under the sink and ust throwing in all the chemicals my mom has under there at once and bombing those pink lines.

Took mine apart… WORKED GREAT!
I went ahead and broke down to mod the tail lights… It worked great. Used hot water and Purple Power. cleaned em up a lil, and even did something else besides taking the pink out… Can you tell what it is?! Took me about an hour and a half… Even got muh girl to help me out!

So I can take “crappy” as ur opinion. What makes it so easy to bear, is that fact that everything I do to this car, I have done on my own. No help, thanks. This isn’t a mommy or daddy car either. Just thought I’d toss that one in there for ya. Blood sweat and tears my man… I love hard work, it pays off. i tried this with some bleach, ya i know,couldnt find no super clean/purple power in my area, walmart had no clue wut i was talkin about.
but only half my lights got white
so now, i got white and pink lines on the top…anyone have this problem before, and anyone got solution
Try going back to wal-mart or target or someplace and ask them if they have any household degreaser. Cus thats all this stuff is. Just a super strength degreaser.
It’s called Purple Power concentrate. Wal Mart has it! Just pour some hot tap water in the tails first, then the same amount of PP. About a cup each, and then slosh it around for 5 min or so… pour it out, then blow dry the insides… That is the longest part… Drying them out.

If you can’t find it there, try asking about a spray called Simple Green…
Purple power or castrol super clean will be in the automotive section. It’s used as a degreaser.
