request pic of integra with carbon fenders

i am thinking about putting some carbon fenders with a crbon spoon lip to accent my hood wondering wat it would look like

If your DA is black, here’s what it would look like…

http://www.g2ic.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99745 by the way, that DA looks sexy as hell! :jerkoff:

that looks pretty nice see the thing ismy da is white and i have a extreme gt vis carbon hood and idk how it would look with white

Honestly, it’s going to look like crap cuz there’s going to be too much carbon in the front end and nothing in the back to even it out. If you’re going that route, might as well dish out the cash flow to get a carbon hatch and spoiler to even out the carbon all over th car… that’s going to be bank though…

Here’s what carbon will look like on white. This is a member over at my my350Z.com forum. Man I miss my Z.

does anyone good even make cf fenders for the da?

Same fenders, different car. Shitty picture. Sorry.

carbon fenders?..unless your car is black then maybe it’ll look good…but white?..dont think so…go for the carbon hatch…

That looks just as dumb.

Leave the carbon to the race cars and fighter jets, boys.

yea man i am not putting the fenders on my car i am keepin my hood becasue i am getting it repainted white with a metalic gunmetal strip

call me a ricer but i like the way it looks on black / dark grey cars:angel:

Ricer.

Have a question here and I don’t want to start a new thread for it. Does anyone have some true spec on the weight difference between Stock and Carbon fiber??

It would be nice to have comparasion for:

Hood
Fenders
Hatch
Differents lips (Fiberglass vs Carbon)

Also, True or False: The Carbon Fiber automotive parts is stiffer than fiberglass and OEM body panel (Steel or aluminium, don’t remember the kind)

Thanks a lot

digital, were those fenders real carbon fiber? or was it CF layered on a regular metal fender or a fiberglass one? Just wondering.

If anything you could get some CF fabric and resin and just DIY on your existing parts. Might look a little tacky though.

that would be extreme rice

if i remember correctly they were made by a middle quality carbon fiber maker, but i cant remember who? is it vis or some body kit manufacturer? does anyone know? i dont even know if id buy them (my car is white) even if they were some good quality stuff like seibon, but id like to know where to find them and who makes them nonetheless.

Another question, maybe noob. Is it possible to paint carbon fiber body part like hood or hatch??

Thanks

^^^i believe by just sanding it and spray it with your choice of color…

Just so everyone knows, OE fenders are NOT heavy. The CF fenders are going to be the same weight or maybe a lbs or two lighter if it’s pure CF and nothing else. On cars like ours, it’s purely for show, if you’re looknig at weight savings, look elsewhere for the cost.

I’ll take 1 or 2 lbs. per fender weight savings. That’s 10+ percent.
