NOTE: I will be working on this review throughout the rest of the night, possibly into tommarow, so it wont be done until this note is removed. And yes there will be tons of pictures.

My pictures are hosted on a server with a 4 meg/hour limit, so pics may not work all the time.

I will post pictures of all these products along with my feelings about them. I will be getting them installed here in the next few days or so and I will continue the review after that and add in how it sounds, feels, etc.

First Impressions:
Well it looks pretty dang good for a $150.00 header. I personally think that it looks pretty high quality as far as the bends and the welds go. My freind has a lot of experience in welding and look a look at it and said they were really well done.

First Impressions:
Awesome looking Cat, you can see through it, the pictures dont show it very well but you can see some light through the honeycomb.

Magnaflow Universal Polished Stainless Steel C/O Muffler:

First Impressions:
This muffler is awesome looking, I got the polished stainless steel version, reflects like a mirror. Also I got the Center/Offset version because I was told that it would make it a little less ricey sounding than the Center/Center version. It’s an 18" long body, oval style, got it because it looked about the same size as the stock muffler, and I wanted to mount it in the same orientation. Also I figured that the preferated tube that ran through it would be just ran through diagonally through the muffler, nope, it is smoothly bent through the muffler and looks like it will flow very nice!

Nice… Cant wait to hear your thoughts on her mang!!! Sounds like its goin to be a great setup for you… Hit me up in an email and tell me how you like it when shes down

BTW i see you want 403/404s… Along with shaving the head… Tell me in the email what you want as well wit that…

Hope all is well up there mang and your not to STRESSED haha

Take it easy bro!!

Ah whats you email I forgot.

personally i bought the megan racing header about 2 months ago and mine already looks like shit, surface rust and everything and the fitment was off a little too. but let me know how urs goes.

I will be ok with it looking bad, as long as it works good and doesnt break or crack, I am not going to be picky with a $150 header  I will update this review as I get stuff on and things though, thanks!

try scuffing it up and painting it with some 1000 degree duplicolor paint.

could you post part numbers, price, where you bought them at, and what size diameters? thanks looks like 90-91 o2 sensor

I have also bought megan racing 4-2-1 2pcs header and the only probally that i found was that it is very close/touching my oil pan.

Part numbers:

Muffler: 14355 Magnaflow Universal Polished Stainless Steel 4"x9" Oval Offset/Center inlets, 2.25" inlets, 18" long body, 24" overall. Price:$105.00

Magnaflow Resonator: 2.25" inlets, stainless steel, 18" long, dont know part number

Magnaflow Cat: 53005 2.25" inlets, stainless steel, high flow, universal, 9" body, 13" overall $58.00

Looks pretty sweet, man! Only thing i don’t like about the Megan header is the O2 sensor placement. Just doesn’t seem like it would operate very well only reading off of one cylinder. Am i wrong here? I’d like to know if it really affects anything cause i’d like to get a Megan header.

Keep us updated!

I didnt really like it either, but your stock manifold reads off one cly. also (if you have a 90-91 teg)

I will keep you guys posted, I just wanted to write this up nice because a lot of people ask about Megan headers on here, and a lot of people have questions on exhast too, so I wanted to write this so people would have somwhere to point others for help

are you going to make a sound clip? it would be great to actually hear what this setup sounds like. Too many people say “its nice”, or “it isn’t too loud”. Its hard to tell from someone else’s description.

Sound AND video, if I can find a video camera, pretty sure I can though

i had the magnaflow muffler and it sounded very nice deep tone.

Did you have a resonator? I got it because I wanted no ricey, tinny sound whatsoever.

yup i have my stock resonator. without resonator prolly sound like a fart cannon
