What RSR version are you talking about? I assume the GT (Canister) because my RSR Ex-mag is the quietest thing ever.:dozing:
ordered the sp2 from a site. im afraid the rsr is too soft for my liking. i dont like it too loud… i think the sp2 will be somewhat in the middle and that is what im aiming for. hope im right.
does anyone know if they still have the rsr exmag with the painted black finish up on the market for DA’s still?

You are mistaken, you must not have an SP2. The SP2 is very quiet and will not cause you to have to raise your voice. Or possibly your setup is flawed in someway - no cat, and exhaust leak, muffler w/ no baffling left in it…etc At cruising speeds on the freeway you shouldn’t even be able to hear an RS*R or SP2 over the road noise.

ye im pretty sure they’re the first generation ones… im lookin to buy one but dont kno where to find one at… im also debating on the greddy sp2 like the one posted above but i dont want to get hassled for it if its too loud
you not going to get pull pver for loudness of a sp2, its just loud on the highway, to me its very annoying.
like i said i got it used for cheap, the guy said it only meet 6 7 thousand miles
it looked new , but who knows if the material in the muffler is gone or what
from the vids i watched on youtube all the sp2 sounds just like the one i got

if stock is 2 , sp2 is def a 7 for me
i now have brand new obx catback sounds just like sp2 but quieter, i rate it 4
The RSR is real quiet. I used to have the first SP and it was real quiet until the muffler exploded like someone threw a cherry bomb inside it, lol.
I have an sp2,cops never bothered me about the noise. the only time(for me) it was really loud was when my cat converter was gutted(previous owner).After the new cat was put in place it had that nice low tone grumble it’s known for.
ive got the rsr exmag, i guess its the regular one, not sure though. its set up the same way the oem one was. its got a nice deep sound and it looks very clean. ive never had or seen anyone thats had the greddy but i really like the rsr
