Here is my dillema guys i currently have a fully built n/a ls/vtec and i want to go forced induction now what i wondered was would you by an ls and turbo it or just keep the ls/vtec nd turbo that.
My ls/vtec was an n/a beast hitting 194whp at 133ft. lbs. now with all of the mods i have on my motor it would be a waste to start over with a bare ls block, wouldn’t you think?
What i wanted to change in my currewnt setup is my cams go from my skunk2 stage 2’s to some gs-r’s, my pistons go from the high comp. to lower comp. sell the header, intake and exhaust.
My mechanic is saying sell the motor and go with the ls?..im thinking i shouldn’t cause it would be more expensive i think if i did that?..the little extras that i have would be gone such as my ITR manifold, aem fuel rail,and fuel pressure regulator, skunk2 springs and retainers, Z10 crank girdle and eagle rods. You know it just seems to be a waste.
Anyway your feedback is important so let me here it…what would you do?
